Good For Solo
Not as great as it sounds
My wife and I stayed 3 nights. The best thing about this hotel is that they work hard to understand and be helpfull. On the negative side when we arrived no towls. I heard others complain about this problem. We were about to go to bed and no pillow slips! When requested they brought them. The floor was grubby and could have done with a good scrub. When we booked on line I was quoted one price and when the print out came it was 200 baht more per night than advertised! For the price I did not think we had a good deal. The hotel is an old one and the suites have adjoining doors, not so good.
Travel into the city by sky train (get a day ticket), is just 3 blocks away and the river ferry's just a little further. Both are cheap travel. The Taxi to airport costs 500 baht.
Unique Quality: The breakfast was excelent, the pool on the roof was OK but a bit tackey with boards comming loose. The roof sauna a good feature. The views from the roof are OK overlooking streets below and sky train.
