More about Fraser Suites Sukhumvit
Outstanding Hotel
by TripAdvisor Member ABowlOfStupid
I stayed at the Fraser Suites Sukhumvit property and really enjoyed my stay. The property is extremely well designed both in terms of aesthetics and functionality with a very contemporary feel yet somewhat understated which was nice. From the common areas and public spaces to the rooms, you could see that a lot of thought had been put into creating a good guest experience. The rooms were also very spacious, nicely designed and functional, with large bathrooms which I liked very much. In terms of the staff, I found them to be very friendly and the service was also very good. The location is also very suitable as it is right next to some of the city's best bars and clubs including bed supperclub, q bar and also has a lot of restaurants within walking distance.. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Bangkok!
Very Classy and Comfortable

This is an exceptionally nice hotel (serviced apartment) to stay at -- either for a couple of nights or a month. Beautiful property with comfortable rooms. Furnishings and bathroom are topnotch. Staff was very efficient and friendly. Breakfast served in a stylish dining area with a lovely pool view. We stayed on the 19th floor -- very quiet and a great view. Good location close to Bumrungrad Hospital and Siam shopping. I would definitely stay here again.
Very good value for money
by TripAdvisor Member XP-Traveler
Stayed at Fraser Suites service apartment for a total of 7 nights. We stayed at the one bedroom and for the amount of money we paid, it was well worth staying at a service apartment than a hotel because there is a lot more room to move around. It is nice when you get back at night and you feel more like "home". There are loads of closet space and storage space. The decoration is very comtemporary. The breakfast, although not like some 5 star bangkok hotel breakfast, is sufficient for what it is. It would be nice if there are a bit of variety and my only complain is that it is always the same thing and when you are staying there for a long time, it gets a bit boring.
I booked directly with the hotel and the sales staff were always prompt in answering e-mail. The quality of the front staff is average. I was disappointed when I asked for a bottle of water and was told it would cost Bhat20. However, there are 7-Eleven just across the hotel and you can pick up most things that you need. I was told that they do not replenish the soap, shampoo and other amenities (but they do change the linen daily and will replenish toilet paper). The great thing is they have a washer and dryer and you can do your laundry. The walk to BTS station is not too bad in the winter time and there are plenty of taxi.
I would highly recommend this place and would stay there again.
great place to stay

We [a family of 4 with 2 teens] have just spent a week in a 2 bedroom apartment over New Year period and this was at the end of a 5 week holiday in Thailand and Cambodia. We found the apartment great as it gave our 2 teenagers plenty of space it was very clean and well presented and the staff were very good. We ate at the restaurant and had room service and the food was very well presented. Breakfast was also very good although on one morning it weemed everyone arrived at the same time which caused a problem as it would anywhere. We were disappointed with the way some of the Middle Eastern and Indian guests treated the staff and their children were particularly rude to the staff in the restaurant - no staff member should have to be treated that way. Our teenagers were embarrassed for the staff. The free tuk tuk was great. Booking the apartment via phone and internet was smooth and the transferes arranged for us by the hotel were excellent. We will stay their again when we return to BKK as the hotels we have previously used have been good but the value for money and space is much better here.
Fantastic stay at Fraser Suites

We stayed at the Fraser Suites for a short period on our way home from a trip in Vietnam. We were incredibly impressed by the hotel as soon as we arrived at the gate. All the staff welcomed us and ensured all our needs were met. We were only at the hotel for 3 nights but the staff treated us as if we were one of their longer term guests.
The information provided to us on arrial ensured we had all we required for an excellent stay in Bangkok and not just the hotel.
The facilities are excellent especially the pool area where you can enjoy a meal or just a drink. It is a welcome retreat from the hectic streets just round the corner!
Fantastic

Lovely Staff, really helpful, when they could understand what I was saying (I don't think my accent helped them) They smile all the time, and really make you feel special. I loved the fact that they were there when you needed them, but you always had privicy. There is nothing worse than relaxing by the pool with someone bothering you every 2 mins. The staff are all discreet, and available when required.
I did see some guests who were really quite rude to the staff. It was handled beautifully with a smile.
Perfect for a Stopover or longer

We loved the Fraser Suites. We used this as a stop-over on our way to New Zealand and were both surprised and delighted by the suite we had. It was in fact a large very modern and stylish one bedroom apartment on the 11th floor. Balconies all along the front with great views of Bangkok. Large sitting room with dining table sofas and 32" flat screen tv/dvd player. Kitchen had everything you would need to be self catering, if you wanted. Washer/dryer and iron/ironing board also means you can catch up on the laundry. Bedroom had another large television, and the bathroom had a bath and separate large walk-in shower. Breakfast is served on the 5th floor overlooking the pool. Lots of choice from the buffet, plus the chef will cook eggs, bacon etc. to order and to your liking.
The staff were all delightful and very helpful. Internet access to check your emails is free for the first ten minutes, which is something more hotels would do well to copy.
Not good experience...

My husband and I periodically visit BKK for medical check up at Bumrungrad Hospital. In the past few year, we have stayed many hotels and apartments in BKK including Conrad, Sheraton, Davis, Centre Point, President Park, etc.. In August 2008, we selected this apartment since it is very close to the hospital and our baby was with us so we thought it would be convenient to have the kitchen and lundry machine in the room.
1. Arrived hotel around 2 pm and the receptionist told us that the room is not ready. Our baby was tired so we had to ask him to let us check in without cleaning. Housekeeping came to our room 1 hour later.
2. We couldn't close the entrance door of our room properly. In fact, I had to throw myself against the door... We called the hotel engineer to fix but they said they need a few days to fix...
3. One of the long term resident on the same floor we stayed had the dog. It was not a problem for us at all but the hallway was not so clean with some trash. It was never cleaned during our 1 week stay.
4. Breakfast was ok but the restaurant floor was filthy.
5. Shuttle service was not available all the time.
In conclusion, the location was perfect for us but we didn't feel comfortable in this apartment.
The Fraser Suites Has Very Tasteful Suites Right On Suk 11 At Very Fair Prices
by TripAdvisor Member WorldTravelerAsia
I found the Fraser Suites to be a good value and it's right in the heart of Sukhumvit 11 next to Q Bar and close to bed Supper Club. For the price I have paid at many hotels for a regular room, the Fraser Suites offered up a brand spanking new (very contemporary) one bedroom apartment with large plasma screens, an enormous amount of closet space, a very comfortable bed, and a great bathroom with both shower and tub. I stayed eleven days, and for the last three days my company offered me the option of moving to the Four Seasons, but I had grown so comfortable at Fraser Suites and it's great Sukhumit 11 location that I didn't even bother to make the move.
The breakfast "buffet" served in the morning is fine...adequate, but gets boring rather quickly as it isn't very extensive and nothing is ever changed. I enjoyed the pool. The staff was nice, always attentive although I wouldn't say they had so much personality that you would have wanted to have dinner at their house (which I can say about some hotels staff---altough this officially isn't a "hotel," it's a residence). The common entry area at Fraser Suites is new (as this entire hotel) but can use some color and personality. The guards always snapped a nice salute as I entered and exited the premises each day and as they stopped our cars in search of car bombs! One in every five trips, the guards would give the wrong directions to the taxi driver (maybe it was just bad luck on my part).
Summing it all up...if you need a brand new hotel, on Sukhumvit 11, with new rooms and a good price, the Fraser Suites will be a nice residence for you.
