I would to recommended this guesthouse for sure. I staye here for 1 week , payed 450 ß for double bed, shower with hot water, air/con include breakfast. The rooms are cheap and clean. Staff very freindly.
Unique Quality: This guesthouse located at Phra-Athit Road near Khaosan. You can walk only 5 minutes to Khaosan. I have dinner at guesthouse restaurant thai food very delicious. Next time I will be stay here again.
For some reason we have walked past here and never tried it. I wish we had.
As you walk in there is a great atmosphere and the staff are really friendly.
They have given a little thought to the room and it's not just 4 plains walls. There is wood panelling with soft lighting at the top of the bed. There are light weight duvets (comforters) with big pillows. Plenty of shelves and even two plug sockets. Bathroom has a hot shower and is tiled. Two of the walls could do with painting soon, but it's not peeling off. The room is clean. All this with aircon.
Costs 490B and they haven't put there prices up like Siam GH 1 & 2. They have rooms with a balcony for 550B, these were full when we checked in.
The restaurant is open 7am to midnight with great food offers. 35B for Pad Thai.
March 2011. Back here again. Paying 790B for same size room as before. There is a flat screen TV in the room now.
Unique Quality: What I really like is that they have thought about the comfort of the guest for a great price.
