Nice location bad service

This hotel is in the central Sukhumvit road and it's very busy.
Problem with them is that they mess with reservations, I had no problems with my first night there but heard some people complaining at front desk because they did not have the room they booked and receptionist answer was: sorry but noone checked out today.
So their policy is: if people already in the house do not check in, we simply cancel the reservations of people booked for today or give them any kind of available room we have even if not like the one they booked.
Understood that I had the feeling I could have problems once I would get back the week later.
Infact even if I booked a standard room, noone left that kind of room that morning so I got a cheaper room on ground floor which meant a room in the car garage.
I had to stay one night only and so I didn't care much, but for sure they are everything but serious when booking.
I paid 1.000 baht for the normal room and 800 baht for the one in the garage which at least was not so hot, I didn't even need to turn airconditioning on.

"A Place Small Enough To Call Home" & park you ca

I only stayed for a couple of nights, But the Hotel is lovely, plus for the money I thought it was cheap. The rooms range from 800 baht to 1300 baht per night. It has a little pool at the front of the Hotel. Its a little strange being in a pool with big buildings around u. Plus car parking (a little cramp but there is room for everyone), Tip- Leave your hand brake off, Parking is at a premium in Bangkok.
The rooms are clean and tidy too. with AC and TV.
Its also a 2 minute walk from Asok underground and Skytrain (don't forget the last train is around 2330 to 0000). Also if its your thing you can walk it to Soi Cowboy in minutes, Nana you can walk in 15 minutes

I googled some info for you. First it seems that rooms run from $25-$35 a day wiht breakfast included at an adjoining cafe. Here are a couple of links for you. The first are reviews of this hotel. One reviewer said to not trust reservations desk at this hotel.
