Reasonably priced, basic but clean
More of a business hotel, clean, basic, comfortable, but without the frills of a pool, gym or sauna. The buffet breakfast is a separate charge; viands are the same daily. WIFI is free only when you use your laptop at the lobby. The room area is adequate enough for one person, still OK with two but if both of you have big luggages then think twice about booking here. They have cable TV, an empty mini-ref, complimentary mineral water, coffee and tea, safety box and hair dryer.
When you're at the top floor (7th) then a nice view of the street below and the sky above gives you an idea about how's everything outside. They also offer a free tuktuk ride to the nearest BTS station (Nana) that starts at 8 AM, which is very helpful when you're toting bags to the airport.
Unique Quality: As described by others, the hotel is in a red-light district so come nightfall expect to see bar girls, ladyboys, drunks, and other sleazy characters hanging around or near the Nana entertainment place. Maybe this is precisely why the hotel rates are lower here, but aside from the price I also chose it because it was reasonable close to a BTS station (about 7 mins. walk). If you don't have kids with you and you don't mind your surroundings then this hotel is certainly recommendable. There are also lots of groceries, cafes and laundry services around so you could avail them at a cheaper cost than what the hotel offers.

A Nana Experience
I stayed at the Ibis Bangkok Nana last week.It good for a few nights.
The room is like other Ibis hotels;Modern ,small,clean,air condition,flat screen TV with many selection of channels.
The location is very good with the night life of Nana Soi 4 seconds away. Buffet breakfast and lunch .Transport supply is excellent as close to skytrain, airport bus service and taxis.

Hotel Ibis Nana, feedback please
Hi there. I will be staying for 4 nights in Bangkok and was thinking about staying at the Hotel Ibis Nana on Soi 4 on Sukhumvit Road.
I was hoping to get any feedback possible in regards to this place..clean? good location? etc.

Location is okay for bars, restaurants, malls, street vendors and easy walk to the Nana Skytrain stop. Not a bad location but if you are with someone who is against having to walk by bars then you will have a problem.
(Thousands of people walk by bars every day without anyone being forced to do anything they don't want to do!)

Ibis Nana is a good, clean, cheap hotel. It's a good choice to be around the Sukhumvit nightlife. Other options in the area that are in the same budget range include:

Hi stayed there recently. It does what it says it does "on the tin" which in Thailand is as best as it gets lol and is near Nana BTS (well I like a short walk)
Downside rather characterless hotel and DONT book breakfast! But to get cheaper you will be staying in more backpacker type places or Pratunum which is less convenient for tourists. It is clean and new
