More about Imm Fusion Sukhumvit

Really enjoyed the Imm fusion Sukhumvit

by TripAdvisor Member dan0283

Date: 30th May 20008
I have stayed at the Imm Fusion Sukhumvit hotel in Thailand for a stop over night between two long flights. I have to say that there service was fantastic and the staff was very welcoming. I really enjoyed my room and overall the facilities that are on offer( the pool is very unique and authentic and there are great spa services) . The hotel is well located close to a big shopping centre and a short trip from the airport.

Overall I would say, I have really enjoyed this hotel and warmly recommand others to pay it a visit, if you are on a short trip or a long one.

Excellent stay at Imm Fusion

by TripAdvisor Member numa21

Our stay at Imm Fusion was great!
Upon arrival we were impressed by the fascinating decoration. It's a beautiful place! The spa offers massages by the tourquise swimming pool performed by ecxelent therapists.
The manager was very friendly and the staff was very kind and always ready to assist us with any matter, from specific needs to restaurant reservations.
Location: the hotel is a bit far from all the important sites and shopping areas but it is located just outside the "On Nut" Skytrain station which gets you to the city center in a matter of 15 minutes.
This will defenetly be our choice for out next Bangkok trip.

Great location and value!

We stayed at the Imm Fusion twice in May 2008 while we were visiting Thailand. We started the trip in Bangkok and ended in Bangkok... we liked the Imm Fusion so much we decided to stay there twice! The hotel is a very short walk from the On Nut BTS Sky Train station, which makes getting around Bangkok quick and easy.

The hotel facilities are nice with a great pool, basic gym, massage services, and a cool room with great A/C and bean bags to chill and watch tv. The staff are very helpful and were willing to assist in any way possible. Breakfast is included in the rate and was a few pastry selections, fresh fruit, croissants, and toast. Also, fresh OJ and coffee were provided.

The rooms are nice and basic... beds are firm, like most of Thailand. Small tv is included in the room. Bathrooms are good with a nice shower with hot water.

The only complaint about the hotel is taxi drivers from the airport don't seem to know where it is. Both times we left from the airport to go to the hotel and we had the exact address, but it was difficult for them to find. However, this isn't an issue with the hotel, but more an issue with airport taxi services.

Overall, a great experience! I'd recommend it to budget travelers heading to Bangkok!

Hotel of Smiles @ The Land of Smiles

GREAT ! We will definately be back!

Although the location is a bit out-skirt of the town area, however it is very convenient that the BTS station is just about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. You will not have to worry about the seats in the BTS as this will be the first station of the route. Moreover, there is a Tesco located just beside the hotel that makes a traveler even more convenient.

Hotel's staff are very friendly, from the receptionists to the cleaning lady. They are all helpful and kind. Always bearing a smile on their face. I feel happier after a whole day walk when i was greeted by a warm smile and welcome back greetings just at the entrance. Even the security guard is so cute that he greets you with smile bundled and laughter everytime he sees you in and out !

Strongly recommended!

To the team of staff at Imm Fusion: Keep up the great service, guys! Show everyone what's a real Thailand (Land of Smiles) is all about.

The Best Staff Ever! - Michelle V. from Philippines

Our whole family stayed at IMM last JUNE 6-10, 2008 and it was the best hotel deal in BKK! The hotel is located at On Nut Station which is quite far from the central district but no worries because it's a 2 min walk from the BTS Station. The hotel has no fancy bathtubs or room service but the superb cleanliness of the hotel makes up for it. The rates are cheap but the service is EXCELLENT. Do try their massages! One suggestion though is for the hotel to serve American bfast (complete with brewed coffee, eggs, etc) just to get a power boost in the morning. They were only serving continental bfast.

The staff are the jewels of the hotel. They are courteous and gives you "a personal service" feel. The GM is very accommodating also and personally answers any questions/emails. Even the guard can smiles all through out the day. VERY WELL TRAINED STAFF!

There are many budget hotels in BKK but IMM FUSION IS THE BEST VALUE FOR MONEY. Cheap luxury.

I have only good things to say about this hotel. Being a very picky Westerner used to high standards of European and North American hospitality, I found everything in this hotel to meet or exceed my expectations, which is amazing considering the very low price (1,300 baht (net) per night for a superior room via the "hot deal" offer on the hotel's own website). I originally booked 4 nights, but as soon as I saw the impressive public areas and my room, I immediately decided to extend my stay for 1 month. After talking to the general manager, a young guy called Zaki, from Syria, who is a very friendly, helpful and easy-going guy, he asked me what price I'd like to pay for long term and we agreed on only 1,050 baht per night (US$ 32) including free continental breakfast, free use of pool and gym, free & reliable WiFi, 2 free bottles of water a day, and one free 1-hour massage each week. What a deal! I have never stayed in a better hotel at this price, and I've been in hotels costing 5 times more that weren't as satisfying overall. It's truly a unique boutique hotel, beautifully designed in Moroccan style, with a large and airy atrium where the open-air reception is located, with a second large, inner atrium containing the swimming pool (chlorine-free, clean enough to drink), gym and massage services. At night, the hotel has subdued lighting, and the elegant, magical design of the very high atrium with its columns, comfortable seating (dozens of cushions) and lovely design details give the inner atrium a magical, spiritual feeling almost like a church. The guest rooms are completely quiet, well-appointed with Mediterranean-style tiled floors, large firm bed with very clean, comfortable linens. My room had no refrigerator originally, but they provided me with one right away without my asking, as well as a DVD player, kettle, hairdryer, etc. Aircon is very quiet and efficient, TV is small but who comes to Bangkok to watch TV? The attitude of all the staff, from reception to maids, is very gracious and helpful, with strong English spoken all round, and always laughing and talking among themselves when not dealing efficiently with guests. They are, if anything, over-attentive to the point that may make you feel embarrassed, for example rushing to open the door for you, to press the button on the elevator, turn on a fan if you're sitting in the public areas, spray you with their free mosquito repellent, etc., etc. In fact, they're too nice and too polite. The whole hotel is brand-new and spotless and there are maids cleaning everywhere the whole day long. Location is really great, being a 1-minute walk from a huge Tesco Lotus superstore and about 4 minutes from a possibly even larger Carrefour superstore, both of which are also malls with restaurants, banks and other stores. A 7-11 is in fact 10 seconds away from the hotel's front door. The On Nut Skytrain station is 1 minute away, next to Tesco Lotus. This is a residential area, almost suburban, with no nightlife/bars/restaurants catering to tourists. However, the Skytrain (it's at the end of the line) will take you to the very heart of Bangkok cheaply in just 5-10 minutes. Overall, Imm Fusion is a wonderful hotel, incredible value for money especially if you negotiate a long-stay rate, and, in the quality of its design and relaxing atmosphere, probably unique in Bangkok. Very oriented towards guest satisfaction and constantly making improvements, for example they just bought safe boxes and gave me one for my room. The restaurant will become full-service shortly, but at present only serves the complimentary continental breakfast and very limited lunch. However, the hotel has only been open 4 months. Basically, anything you want, they'll try to help you as best they can. The manager and staff are doing their utmost to ensure you enjoy your stay, want to return and recommend this place to others. I think you will. Considering that Bangkok has many grotty and impersonal hotels in dodgy neighbourhoods at prices much higher than this, Imm Fusion is truly a gem of a find. Any time I return to Bangkok, I'll stay here again, because you really feel like this is your home away from home.

Loved this hotel!!

by TripAdvisor Member angel_anne78

As this was my first experience to Bangkok, I did not really know what to expect. However, the moment i stepped into this hotel i was affimed that this was going to a superb trip. The hotel staff were so helpful and kind and always had a warm smile on their faces. They attended to our every need right to the end and even got us a taxi to the airport. The rooms were a steal for the price we paid and service was great. Moreover, the hotel was a short walk from the On Nut skytrain. So i highly recommend this hotel to all travellers. Of course, dont expect a 5 star hotel, but do expect 5 star treatment!!

A Very Pleasent Stay, Hotel and Staff

by TripAdvisor Member cansutraveltheworld

I stayed at ImmFusion Bangkok for 4 days with my friend on the first week of may. Although it had been only a few months that the hotel was opened, everyhting was perfect. The decoration of the lobby, the pool is very nice.
Besides all, what made this stay so special was the helpful, friendly and always smiling staff. They did every possible favor to make our stay a pleasant one. Special thanks to the Front Office manager and the receptionists.

Very beautiful hotel. The rooms are nice and clean and the people at the reception is very kind and useful. The manager is from Damasco and he's sympathetic. The hotel is a bit far from the city center but it's beside "On Nut" BTS station from where you can go everywhere. The swimming pool is exotic and they have a good and not expensive SPA.

Staying Imm Fusion / On Nut

by virtualKiwis

Hi there ... my wife and daughter have a week booked at Imm Fusion (by On Nut BTS)I have suggested they don't go too far from there. Is that reasonable? Even if BTS is running it may not be safe from attack ?? Is there much to do in that area.

Re: Staying Imm Fusion / On Nut

They have a big mall out there and there is plenty of things to do in Thailand along Sukimvit Road. Just stay away from the protest areas and the family will be fine.. They are not after tourist, they will not attack the hands that feeds them, they just want the money you spend.

Go wherever you want in Bangkok so long as it is not Rajaprasong intersection. Not let paranoia stop you from having a fun time travelling around Bangkok. Yes, there has been one sporadic attack on the BTS but when you think that half million people take the skytrain everyday, only a tiny percentage were directly hurt. Skytrain still a hundred times safer than a tuk-tuk!
