Very pleasant. Nice, comfortable, tastefully decorated rooms. Good service. Look at the Intercon website, they offer competitive rates.

Skip the restaurants in the attached mall, they were disappointing.

Unique Quality: Excellent location. Right at the BTS Chitlom stop. Beside Gaysorn. Great foot massage place in the mall right across Ploenchit (same level as elevated walkway)

It used to be Le Royal Meridien Hotel and the views from the top is amazing. In the morning, I like to see the landscape of the city by the swimming pool at the top of the roof (38th floor).

Directions: BTS station Ploen Chit, 2 stop before Nana station, in the opposite of WTC and nearby The President Hotel

This is not a tip. There´s no Interncontinental Hotel any more. Huge gardens, ancient trees and a lot of room to breathe - it was too good to last.

There´s now a construction work going on. A new Intercontinental Hotel and a huge shopping mall will be there soon. I guess there´s no room for garden anymore.
