We all friends stay here, room was ok , bath was clean, in short to say its a average hotel with nice location
Unique Quality: lobby was nice to have a relax
This hotel is cheap and comfortable although I noticed in Thailand there water is not so clear..its kinda yellow in color..like theyre passing thru an antique pipes.
Staffs are hospitable..Breakfast buffet was okay..
But if you are looking for something near the BTS train..you have to walk a few blocks to get there..its not a good place if you are planning to take the BTs sky train to get around bangkok.
Its less than an hour away from the airport..i paid THB200 for one way by taxi..and the tollway fee will be paid by you and its around THB 70.

Hi... we would appreciate if any VT members could advise us on where to stay in Bangkok. We trio ladies have confirmed our flight tickets from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on mid July 2006. We are seeking accomodation in Silom area. What about Manohra Hotel Bangkok, Mandarin Hotel Bangkok and Trinity Silom Hotel Bangkok, or any recommended budget hotel around the area? Is there any public transportation for easy access? Thank you in advance. Where other things or tourist attactions that we should not miss (other than shopping and eating?).
MANOHRA HOTEL is the best choie in all respects. have a superb free breakfast.
For me i better live in ROSE HOUSE. It is near to the Baiyoke hotel and Indra Reagent Hotel. The cost is around US$12 per night. The room standard is 3 stars hotel.
For more information breakfast is not included.
thanks for your advise!... however, i am wondering woodlands inn is OK or not? How about :- manohra, woraburi sukhumvit, suriwongse tower inn,
a bit far, but feel it value for money :- prince, bangkok city inn.
this one is nice :- sawasdee sukhumvit inn
my budget for triple sharing is around Thai Baht 1000-1200 per room per night (with breakfast inclusive) and also near BTS.
I have booked our at Manhattan. Good avalue for money and near BTS.
I Like Trinity Silom. It is 3 mins walk to Chong NongSi BTS station, which is a stop away from Saladeang station (Patpong). If you want to test your leg power, you can also walk to Patpong within 15 mins. The hotel is next to a small shopping complex. There are a 7 eleven and a Family mart on the way from the BTS station which I find it very convenient to grab some titbit and drinks on the way back to hotel.
I stayed at the Woriburi in March. It is within your budget and is a very good value for the money. About a 10 minute walk to the BTS but the hotel has a tuk tuk to take you to Sukhumvit. Breakfast is good if you get there before 10:00. One thing to take into account - it is one Soi 4 - as is Nana Plaza and the red light district. The hotel is 5 or 6 blocks down the Soi so it is quiet and there is a nice little rooftop bar and pool to relax after a day in the heat.

lobby was nice to have a relax
