greetings.
i've not had much luck finding a hotel (on-line) near chaktuchak weekend market. i'm looking for a 3-4 star hotel with a pool and preferably a gym as well.
does anyone know of somewhere in this area, along the skytrain(n5-n7) that has a pool and gym(fitness room), under 1200 baht?
thanks.
patrick

thanks for the links, patt, they were very useful.
i'll probably stay at the elizabeth.
when you say "a bit far from the skytrain" do you mean more than a 15 minute walk? which station is nearest the elizabeth?
i really appreciate your help.
patrick
Hi..
Try this link.

I think any hotel in Sukhumvit Roal also fine for you since you can take sky train from the hotel to the market easily.
After shopping at Chatuchak, you can also try MBK (Ma Boon Krong) at Siam Station.
For BTS website, you can check at http://www.bts.co.th/e-tourist.html
Enjoy your trip in Thailand.. HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Nice
Hi again,
My suggession is Asia Bangkok Hotel since you can walk from the hotel to sky train station within 2 minutes.
What do you think Patt?
Nice
Uhmm..... I think so, Pleasebenice, Asia Hotel 's good and the location 's ok than Saphankwai area .Also easy to go and out as it's very close to Rachathewi BTS station (N1) and close to Phyathai road.
Well, Patrick , it's up to your decision. For Elizabeth hotel, you must walk about 5-10 minutes to the BTS station (N7). But the area 's not so good ,cuase of traffic jam, foodstalls on footpath, crownded of people and entertainment things.
Enjoy your trip.
Patt
thanks so much pleasebenice and patt.
i think it will be better to closer to the center and will probably stay at the asia bangkok.
all the best in 2004!
