Reasonably Priced Near Airport
Late check-in was very smooth and efficient, I was booked into one of the executive floor rooms which turned out to be pretty big, the huge bed taking up a good portion of it.
The room was simply decorated, possibly a little tired in places (scuff marks on the walls etc) but all in all, a very nice room. The bed was a bit excessive in size, but nice and firm.
One gripe - no net access or wifi as far as I could tell, something I thought would have been essential for a supposedly business class room.
Breakfast was included in the rate and was passable but nothing to get overexcited about. The coffee tasted as if it came from a jar rather than freshly brewed, and the hash browns were all soft and soggy.
Unique Quality: Firstly, the tv in the shower was an unusual touch so I got to watch CNN as I scrubbed up,
More importantly, it was less than half the price of the Amari airport hotel for only a small journey time. Also, they organised a courtesy bus to take me back to the airport free of charge.

A Miracle
As our flight was delayed about 8 hours Thai Airlines chose to put us up in a hotel in Bangkok, therefore we did not choose the hotel but we could not have chosen better. Just luxury despite the short time in this hotel. Beautiful spacious rooms, with every service imaginable. A 16 storey residential tower with 270 rooms but very quiet.
Unique Quality: Excellent Thai hospitality and service, just like a modern palace.
