    Novotel Siam is one of the hotels that i love to stay over and over again. The location is really great;within the Siam Square where shops & restaurants are located. Walking distance from MBK and Siam Mall. BTS is just on the other corner of the street.

    The room facilities are good with nice interior & functioning airconditioned unit.

    Spacious lobby with live music everynight.

    Great view of the city from our room..Huge Swimming pool though i didnt try to dip :-)

    • Well what can i say? Great location and breakfast is good too!

    Behind the hotel is Hard Rock Cafe and a young and hip shopping belt, where there are lotsa cafes and little shops.

    Not to mention that there are quite a few reputable and price-reasonable spa/massage centres right besides the hotel, just a few steps away!

    It's walking distance to MBK, World Trade Centre & Pratunam, and the Siam Sq BTS is right in front. But no worries, it's not noisy.

    All in all, this hotel is value for money, if you cash to spare, you certainly should stay at this Novotel on Siam Sq, Service is excelllent.

    For first-timer to Bangkok, you should choose Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square as your choice for accomodation. This is one of the best located hotels in town. Conveniently located in Siam Square, it is just 3 minute walk from the Siam Central BTS station and best still, it is just 5 minute walk from the latest sensation in town - Siam Paragon!

    This hotel is surrounded by excellent eateries and fashion boutiques too. In addition, spas and massage salons are just opposite the hotel. If you are suffering from shopping fatigue, simply dump your shopping bags in your room and run across the street to have a relaxing time at one of these massage outlets. That's what I do!

    The hotel is well-equipped with modern facilities and it has just recently been renovated! And the best attraction, it's walking distance to major shopping malls such as MBK, Siam Centre, Siam Discovery Centre, Siam Square and directly opposite Siam Paragon. For a shopper like me, what can I say?

    The rooms are well-furnished and clean. Facilities like gym and swimming pool are available. What I like best is the in-house spa, which is opened from 8am to 10pm. Just head down to the spa for a relaxing facial or massage after a day's "work" at the shopping malls. Guests get to enjoy 20% for services at the spa.

    I toured a room while I was staying at the Westin, and it reminded me of the room at the M Hotel in Singapore. Clean, contemporary decor. And reasonable priced.

    So when I had to spend 1 night in BKK to travel home in the morning, I stayed at the Novotel. However the room I received was NO where near as nice as the room I had toured. And looked NOTHING like the room view from their website....It smelled bad, and the door would not close. I switched rooms and the second one was much better. - still smelled.

    Room was slightly dated and worn. I would not stay here again. The location is VERY congested in the early evening. However you are close to shopping areas and there are lots of tourists here. Hard Rock Cafe in walking distance.

    When we go back to Bangkok we will stay here again . What's not to like ?? The rooms are great, spotless and colour coordinated pastel shades of peach, old rose, salmon pink and mauve .Black marble bathrooms and fresh flowers It is superbly located in the real heart of Bangkok next to the sky train....so you can go anywhere you want day or night!!

    When we returned from a hectic day of siteseeing we often enjoyed a drink in the lounge and listened to the live music.

    The included breakfast was impessive!!

    Excellent location and value for money!! Less than 5 mins. walk from Siam BTS and the mega mall Siam Paragon. Both the Chinese restaurant and the coffee shop on 2/F are beautiful. We enjoyed the huge selection of buffet breakfast and they make you proper cappuccino/espresso! The service is impeccable and the room is spacious. We paid US$90 net per night and it's really a very good value for money. I will definitely go back again.

    • Good location in Siam Square, but nothing at all in terms of justifying the price. The hotel is no better than similar mass market tourist hotels but it certainly prices itself above them.

    The nightclub in the basement is a surreal experience - packed with middle aged western men and those ladies who want to find them.

    I would not rush back to this hotel.

    • Very grand hotel, nice location close to Siam Square and MBK shopping mall. Waling 5minutes can reach Hard Rock Cafe. There's a nice Thai restaurant infront of this Hotel, but too bad i've forgot the name of the restaurant.

    Lovely hotel in a good position for the night life of Siam Square. There are a good selection of restaurants and the swimming pool is great

    • This is where we normally stay during our yearly visit to Bangkok and it is very much preferred due to its proximity to almost anywhere. The hotel is located within the enclosed area of Siam Square, a hip and trendy shopping and entertainment area for the young.

    The hotel is a short walking distance away from MBK, the Sky Train stations, Siam Center, and Henri Dunant Ave (?), the road leading to Silom and Patpong.

    Taxi cabs are plentiful and the many shops that line the main and side streets are worth looking into (there is a Nike shop next door).

    The staff are very accommodating - expecially their doormen Mr. Kosol and his partner. The rooms are quite spacious and well maintained. The breakfast buffet has quite a spread but after several days (we normally stay 5-6 days) it becomes repetetive since the menu does not seem to change.

    One comment: our flight from Manila often arrive Bangkok lunchtime and when we arrive at the hotel, they make us wait for an hour or two before our room becomes ready to be occupied. I guess they have a strict policy regarding check in time but maybe for frequent guests, they can facilitate matters.
