Where's the Park?
I have stayed at this hotel twice, once when I was passing through Bangkok with my wife and then once again when I was by myself. It looks nice enough on the outside and is in a good area if you like to shop, dine out or be in the heart of the nightlife.
I paid 1000 baht per night which I think is pretty reasonable. There were a couple of dodgy incidents. The toilet overflowed the first time I was there and we had to leave the room while the plumber fixed it. The pool was closed both times. The rooms have seen better days but at that rate, who's complaining? My wife said she would never stay there again but I went back and it was fine.
Not recommended for families. It backs onto the soi 7 beer garden which is quite a pick-up joint and thus the hotel does a bit of short-term trade.

A very central hotel
Clean, quiet, freindly service.
Unique Quality: Pool, no views, close to many restaurants, good street shopping, sky train.
Aircon, fridge, private bath, shower. Non smoking rooms available. Breakfast included.
Travel agent located in foyer. Inhouse Taxi service.
Make sure you make your reservation with the travel agent in the foyer as they offer discount prices. I paid 1500BAHT per night but the reception price was 2000BAHT per night. (so they told me :)
