Our three night stay in Pinnacle Lumphini Hotel was very good. Pinnacle Lumphini is a very reasonable three star hotel, located on Rama 4 road, in Lumphini Area, very close to Lumphini Night Bazaar. It is conveniently located near the Underground railway station ‘Lumphini’ which would be hardly 500 mtrs away. The hotel doesn’t have a swimming pool, but there is a Jaccuzi and Sauna facility at 14th floor, although, one has to fix a time slot to use it, it tends to get crowded at around evening hours. The rooms are average, with almost all the facilities this class of Hotel would provide. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is quite good, although there in not much of variations on day to day basis. It is highly advisable not to use Taxi/Tuktuk service available outside the hotel. They misbehave and overcharge. I wanted to go to Pattaya by a cab. On enquiry with the cab driver outside the hotel, they asked for 1500 Bhts. I just walked down the street and enquired with a cab driver there, he easily agreed for 1200 Bhts for the same distance.

Stayed here couple of times, though their rate at their own website are higher than what other agents online offers.
Tall building, get rooms at the upper floors facing the Rama IV road, better view.
Deluxe rooms are located on the upper floors, standard & superiuor lower. I got the Deluxe at about US$30 or 31 (approx. 1,100 Baht or a little more), including a full bountiful buffet breakfast thru an in-house agent I've met several years back. DELUXE ROOM are big, big bath/toilet with all the amenities and clean towels, daily room cleaning, softbeds with all the works, TV with english channels, carpet have cigarette burns but clean, safe box, minibar, coffee/tea-making facility, wardrobe, additional features have been added since I last stayed here, with those room slippers inside the room and some other stuff and friendly staff than before.
Spa available on the 14th floor with small pool/jacuzzi with a view of the whole area around, small gym.
The location is almost along the Rama IV road, a 5 minute walk to the subway metro train station of Sathorn. The Night Bazaar (closing soon in 2007) is on the other side of the road, Lumpinee Park (for late afternoon jog) is a 5-min walk too.
Friendly staff, clean rooms & specially the bathroom.
