Convenient to the Major Shopping Centres

This Hotel is located in a great location for shopping at major centres like, MBK Centre, Siam Square, Central World Plaza, Platinum Mall, Pratanum centre and Pantip Plaza. From the Hotel, these centres are only a short walk. As well, Ratchathewee Skytrain station is very close, and the Siam Skytrain station a short walk. I booked a single room which was located on the 1st floor. I had one HUGE king size bed. There was a big, full length window which overlooked reception and the garden area. The room had a Television, Air conditioning, nice bathroom with Toiletries included, a Fridge which included 2 bottles of free water a day. The empty bottles had to be left in the room, not like plastic ones that you throw away. I think you may be charged if you didn't do that. Breakfast was included, and it was a nice buffet, for me, plenty of choices. There also was a nice outside area with tables and chairs and nice greenery. A 1000tb deposit for the mini bar was required at check-in, this was returned to me when I left as I didn't use the Mini-bar. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and they could speak good English. They also had free Maps there of Bangkok. I did find it hard to find in the first place by trying to follow their map. Now I know the easy way, just go down Petchburi Road, I think its Soi 21, (not sure) a side road which is quiet. If not sure, like I wasn't people nearby in a shop pointed me in the right direction. My stay here was good, and I would return here to stay. Quite often they have deals on a stay at the Hotel.

Unique Quality: Quiet, nice breakfast and staff that could speak good English. Close to the Major shops.

Good budget choice in Pratunam district

Booked 2 nights at Residence Rajtaevee to buy some Ts and pants in Platinum Mall.

It's a 5-minute walk to Platinum and most malls around Pratunam.

The room may not really have new furnishing but it's clean and has a nice comfortable double bed. Has enough room to move around, cabinets to put my stuff, aircon is good, bathroom is okey though small washbasin, bathtub, hot shower.

TV with english movies, fridge, in short, it's totally fine for me and for what you pay.

The buffet breakfast is really good with lots of stuff compared to other places with the same rate.

Reception too was friendly and courteous staff.

Recommended if you want to stay in the garment district of Pratunam.

Unique Quality: Clean, comfortable room and friendly staff. Good breakfast too.

Balinese Hotel in Thailand

The city hotel and serviced apartment, The Residence Rajtaevee is surrounded by all of the Bangkok's most fabulous shopping and entertainment centers while adjacent to all major central business district. Just a few minutes walk will take you to the busiest shopping street, entertainment centers and major tourist attractions.

Even though it is next to the busy main street - Petchburi Road, guests will still get extreme privacy and peaceful in their specially designed tropical resort atmosphere.

Unique Quality: The rooms and the staffs are pleasant and warm. Very helpful and efficient. But the room does not have a nice view of the the city...

Location is easy excess to all major-locations.. Public transports are everywhere... Skytrain Station is just few minutes walk from the hotel. Meter taxi doesn't cost a lot too...

budget accomodation near Pratunam Clothes Market

A liitle obscure hotel off the main road located opposite the First Hotel. Ideal location if you are into clothes hunting.
We paid US 50 a night for a two room apartment with breakfast which can put a 3 star hotel to shame. For a small budget hotel, the breakfast spread in not large but extremely well laid out. Just observe the how the eggs and ham are laid out speaks volume of their presentation!
It is just a 5 or 10 min walk to the nearest Rajthavee BTS station .We even walked from MBK to our hotel one night!
If you are looking for a budget accomodation for a family of 4 to 6, this is a good bet.
Located right next to Pantip plaza and the brand new Platinum Mall. The Pratuman clothes market is right opposite. We walked to the Siam Square on the first night. If being near to the shopping mall is a must, then you will not regret this place. Not a touristy place but if you are are loking for decent accomodation for a family or group, this is it. Will not appeal to those on honeymoon. There are no facilities - spartan is more precise. Oh yes! No cable TV!

Unique Quality: right opposite Pratunam market and walking distance (10 - 15min ) to Siam Square. There is a in house spa but have not tried it

Unique Quality: 15 mins walk from the Rachatewi BTS station, and about 25 mins walk to the shopping district where MBK and Discovery Centre are located. This two star has a new day spa centre within the hotel!!!
