sex tourists playground

the nana inn is not to be confused with the nana hotel or any other nana's in bangkok, this is a very basic place with breakfast which is nice after a night drinking, you have a TV, mini bar and we had twin beds, on suite bathroom which was nice with a western toilet. there is an indian restaurant with shisha pipes and they will stay open...as long as you are there and buying beer or food!

Unique Quality: it is right near one of the redlight districts of bangkok, you can walk down the street and order more than just a piece of pizza at 5am, you can get a taxi from right outside or you can get a scooter taxi which is much more fun an more dangerous but also quicker to go through the bangkok traffic

Not for the family

The Nana is an ageing but well kept 2 star hotel across the road from the adult playground of Nana Plaza, off Sukhumvit Rd. Excellent value for money, with all the necessities, including A/C rooms with cable tv, fridge, hot/cold water bathroom, complimentary bootled water and large pool and spa. You will find mostly single men with the rented girlfriends here and the property also has an onsite disco where the local ladies frequent.
There are certainly worse hotels in BKK than this one.

Unique Quality: Very good service, secure, nice big pool. Good coffee shop.

The Nana rocks

Yes well it was a real eye opener staying here.
The Nana is right where all the action is especially if you are a single white male.
The rooms are older but I thought quite clean and large.
The location is perfect for going out at night and the pool and spa are excellent.
Close to the sky train, opposite the Nana entertainment complex, and central to all the Sukhumvit shopping in its various forms.

Unique Quality: Outstanding pool and spa area which is great during the hot Bangkok days.
The Angels disco downstairs is a excellent place to party until late.
see the website www.nanadisco.com
The buffet breakfast here is very good too.
The best thing about this hotel for mine is that all the most interesting and many of the most beautiful people of Bangkok are just outside or even in some cases just downstairs waiting to say hello to you.

The Perfect hotel for all single guys and for young or open minded people.

Nana hotel

Cost 1177bt per night (around #18). No discounts for shorter stays (eg if you have to leave early to go to the airport).

Set out like a standard high volume ** hotel with some shops at the bottom. Security guard stationed by the lifts checking guest IDs.

Took 55min from the airport (mid morning) and 25min back (evening). Located very close to entertainment centre Nana Plaza, nana shopping centre (excellent food court on 3rd floor) and various stalls and pubs.

They arrange a taxi back to the airport for 500bt.

Rooms seem clean, 20 satellite channels (incl BBC World), 11 floors.

The Last Resort?

I have stayed at the Nana City Inn twice. One time was when I didn't know any better, the second time was when I couldn't find another hotel anywhere else.

The rooms are tired and dirty and I saw the odd cockroach here and there. On my most recent stay, I was not able to find a hotel anywhere else in the Sukhumvit area and I knew that this hotel would probably have a few rooms free (because of the nasty aspects outlined above). Voila! One room left and so I checked in.

Unique Quality: This hotel is located in soi 4, which is a fairly intense red-light district, but the hotel itself is rather tame. It costs 800 baht per night and unlike other hotels on soi 4, it seems to attract mostly families and budget travellers. There is a 24 hour reception and the staff are very helpful - one of them even lent me her mobile phone so I could call my wife! Can't fault that....

There is no pool, no bar and no restaurant, all fairly basic.

Not for the romantic souls among us,it's a to cold harted side even for BKK
1100 Baht/night airco

Unique Quality: Lots of hookers hang around the lobby,it's one of the business centers of BKK
Skytrain and metro station nearby.

Reasonable accomodation

Nana Inn, a hotel in Sukhumvit, is a reasonably priced hotel in a bustling area. The rooms are reasonably clean and fully airconditioned and the rates are moderate. For two people you can expect to pay around 900 Bahts and for 3 people around 1250 Bahts. The rooms are also spacious enough and its located at a very convenient area close to the Sukhumvit train station and also the main artery. There are tons of restaurants near this hotel of every conceivable cuisine to satisfy even the most ardent of food fans.

Unique Quality: For a moderate budget hotel, this is airconditioned right from the lobby and so it does provide sanctuary from Bangkok's searing heat in the summer. The hotel is also within walking distance of the rail station (both the metro and the skyline) and also the bus stops, not to mention hundreds of restaurants and shops.

The good place in Sukkhumvit

Ok, I know what some of you will say !!
This is more a brothel than a hotel.
Indeed there is a lot of action around and most of the guest are Single western male but nevertheless, this hotel is affordable, troubleless with a very friendly staff.
1270 Bath/single-double with breakfast.
Pls prefer rooms with even-nbr and above 6th floor like 678 or 780 as they look on the back side of Sukkhumvit Rd and therefore much more quiet.

Unique Quality: Nice swimming pool, good location, BTS, friendly staff, wifi available.
