Stayed 2 nights in this beautiful hotel
    The staff were so friendly
The restaurants served food to die for
Check out the chocolate and ice sculptures

Unique Quality: The rooms were large enough for 3 adults to be comfortable

Nice, but perhaps not the best option

    by

Our stay at Siam City was good. It is a good medium-priced hotel, rooms are well appointed and nicely decorated and it catered from all our needs. Swimming pool is not big, but very confortable, with showers inside the pool and jacuzzi corner. Concierge staff is really helpful, they gave us all kind of maps and directions and even wrote thai words for us to show the taxi drivers. Several restaurants, although we only tried Patummat. Breakfast buffet was included and it was superb: not only good variety of western and Asian specialities, but also superb in quality. The area is not bad: next to Bayioke Tower, next to MBK, next to Jim Thompson and only a few meters far from Skytrain stop (Phaya Thai)... But later we stayed near Chao Phraya and it was even better, so I am not sure that I would stay again at Siam City if I ever come back to Bangkok.

    Directions: Phaya Thai Skytrain

Near or Far, depending on the traffic

    by

A 4-star (according to our tour guide) hotel in the city. To get to the malls, shops, chatuchak and bars it can be quick or a journey of epic proportions depending on the traffic. The staff are friendly and would try to assist you whenever you call their attention.

    Directions: walking distance from pratunam

    Comfortable stay

    by

My stay here was very comfortable and the room is really spacious. It is around 5 minutes walk to skytrain Phayathai station. However the hotel is not situated close to any night market, otherwise it will be perfect (for a typical Singaporean that is :P).

Directions: Skytrain Phayathai station is close by. Transportation details are available from its website.

Hotel Close To Bangkok Airport

by 71stuman about Quality Suites Airport Hotel Bangkok

My stay here was very brief but it was a neat and tidy room with friendly staff. The room I stayed in was a "run of the house" room. It had 2 queen size beds, hot and cold water, Fridge and mini bar, airconditioning, TV, and IDD telephone.
There was also a balcony facing west which gave me a great view of the sunset over the city. Room service was available 24 hours a day offering great food and service. Transfers to the airport are included in your room rate, the airport is 2 kilometres away and took about 10 minutes to reach the terminal. If travelling light you could walk there if you wanted.

450bt - 900bt Dirty Looking hotel that comes with hot water and air-con. This place should do a little face lift.

Next to the main road and skytrain which will be noisy if your rooms is by the main road.

We stayed in the Asia Hotel...

by dhod

We stayed in the Asia Hotel Bangkok, I believe it was 4 star.
It was OK, very close to the amenities, with 2 swimming pools and a nightclub.
Tuk-tuk's are easy to get hold of outside the hotel and will take you anywhere you want to go! swimming pool on two different floors and a nightclub

The room I stayed does not have a window. it is better for you to ask the room which have window. The room was generally clean. The ambience at the lobby is quite nice Linked by a sky bridge to the Ratchthewi BTS station. The only such hotel in Bangkok
