A New Boutique Hotel (Downtown Bangkok)

Location
Right in the city center. Located on Suriwongse Road and is approximately two minutes from Patpong and Silom Road. Hotel just opened last August '04.

Facility
New facilities with hot / cold shower and bath (depending on the roomtype you stay in). Has a rooftop swimming pool, hot jacuzzi, fitness centre (latest equipment), roof top restaurant, & the Heritage Spa.
Some rooms have a small living area and kitchenette.

All rooms have smoke detectors / sprinkler system, in room safe deposit box.

All staff are friendly and well mannered. Most importantly, the hotel is very clean and the service is personal.

I'm presently staying in the Executive 1 Bedroom Suite which has a small living room, small kitchenette (stove / microwave), bath with seperate shower, TV / Cable, etc.

This hotel is perfect for those wanting comfort of home, but close to all the nightlife and entertainment.

Unique Quality: The Executive 1 Bedroom Suite is spacious with a traditional Thai wooden door that separates the bedroom and living area.

The decoration is traditional Thai (throughout the hotel and even in the room), a combination of antiques, Thai silk, and modern amenities. Also, the security is very tight because of all the antiques and pictures in the hotel.

In the lobby, there is an art gallery & an

I am very amazed that such a hotel even exist in the middle of downtown Bangkok.

by emandrake about Tailors

Made 1 tux & 4 shirts there for a great price. The tux was for my sis's wedding. The price for high quality suit is about 6,000 - 10,000 baht and even higher depending on quality. I made mine for around 7,000 baht. I think you can get cheaper for lower quality. My shirt was 900 baht. I have scoliosis so my shoulder is one side higher than the other, they measured me and made it in accordance to my different shoulder height. It came out perfect, just needed 3 days and 2 fitting. Always remember you pay for what you get. Do tell them Eugene from Singapore recommended you if you are going there. You won't regret it.

Will be travelling to Bangkok in early May with friends (4 of us ..all guys)for a short holiday. Looking for a hotel near Siam square or where most of the action is. One of the options is Nai Lert Park Hotel. Would appreciate any suggestions and feedback...We would like to visit Khao San, Patpong etc. so if there are any recommendations on good hotels in these areas...4 stars or more?

Sofitel Silom? Not far from Pat Pong, good price level and exquisite service and interior, esp. for that price.

I have stayed a couple of times at the Novotel Siam Square. It is probably a 4 star hotel and is located very near the Skytrain, shopping, and Hard Rock Cafe. Enjoy your stay in Bangkok! -Gary

I guess Pratuwan Princess is a good hotel. Connected to the famous MBK in Siam Square.

Many good places to stay in Bangkok. In the Silom, Patpong area, Ramada Tawana is a nice 4 star hotel. Near the big entertainment areas at Sukhumvit Road, try the Dynasty Inn Grande. Look at my Bangkok hotel reviews for more interesting reviews.

Check at The Siam Heritage, an elegant premier boutique hotel in Surawong Road, Bangkok Thailand. You will discover the joy of traditional Thai Living at its best. The hotel is 4 star and conveniently located near several expressway entrances for quick access to Bangkok Airport or other areas. The pretty Lumpini Park is a short stroll away, as is the Lumpini Night Bazaar and Silom Night Market. Moreover, you can enjoy the famous nightlife at silom road which is nearby the hotel.

Thanks for the replies...the Siam Heritage looks like a good place to stay and has got some good reviews.

Can you also recommend any apartment hotels near the nightlife. I've heard thats a good option too..

Hi
Checked out the Dynasty Inn Grande too. Looks ideal and the price is good too especially since there are three of us in a room. Just thought I would check out some hotel apartments also since we would have more space then...
