Breakfast at its Best!

Unique Quality: The thing I like best in this hotel is the daily breakfast buffet with a wide range of selection of international and local cuisine from bread to cereals and what else, my favorite.......rice. Breakfast is served from 6:00 to 10:00 a.m.

A Nice Hotel Out of the City

We checked into the hotel at about 12 midnight. Even at that time, the hotel lobby still had quite a buzz, I guess with other tourists who had late flights as well. The hotel is not centrally located, but it's still walkable to MBK. But I'd only suggest doing this if you don't mind the smog, humidity and noise.

It took us 30 minutes to get back to the hotel, but we got to see alot more of the Thai way of life than if we were in a taxi.

10 days over Christmas & New Year for next to nada

Okay I only went to this hotel because I was offered 10 days over Christmas and New Year for 100 pounds which is so cheap could'nt refuse.

The room was big and the bed comfy - bathrooom pretty good although shower was a weak affair.

Noise was a bit of an issue even on the 16th floor.

Staff pretty much left me alone - helpful to a point although a little sulky for the land of smiles. Door guys were really nice and helpful.

It is really to far away from any action for a single or young traveller.

Oh and the hairdresser screwed up my hair BIG TIME - went in for a touch up on my bonde highlights came out with 80% of my hair ginger ... many tears were shed. The management did NOTHING.

Charged nearly 3,000 baht for a freephone telepone call regarding stolen credit card - Visa will refund me but the hotel were crap about the whole thing.

Pool looked nice enough and was very quiet everytime I went past - did not bring swimsuit so could no use.

Rooms so huge u can hop around

We have been to bangkok couple of times, usually for a period of 5-6 days.
(tried hotels like Asia, Bangkok Palace, Pat Princess, and some other small time boutique hotels) non like
SOL Twin towers - One word to describe "Very Reasonable" and if you r a very big person, you will definately appreciate the space they provide in the hotel rm.

Its almost centrally located, few streets of MBK .... you can literally walk there, and if you take the taxis that knows the short cut, u probably pay 37b to MBK.

Tough the surroundings dont provide any form of heart stomping activities and such, one point to note:- if your stomach can keep up with the street hawking activities, you might want to try the side walk stores and is situated right in front of the hotel, host under a highway. Marvellous cook food such as beef soup, tom yam and this roast pork with fried kai lan(vege) ..hmmm to think of it, my stomach growling...they even provide home made karoake session under the bridge!
all for a miserly 100b.

Unique Quality: Unique Qualities

1) forget about the lobby and other ammenties at first site....
2) The huge and airy rooms with space for you (gals) to do your cat walk after you done your shopping.
3) very clean and a wonderful bathroom and loads of space again...

Quite nice..

Quite a nice place to stay.. big room. Pleasant hotel staff. Not too far away from most shopping areas. Easy to get Taxis or 'tuk tuks' just outside the hotel.

Value for Money

I stayed in Bangkok for two nights and this hotel provided quiet rest after tiresome tours round the city.

Unique Quality: Very friendly staff.

Very clean rooms; complimentary toiletries and drinking water provided.

You can use safe boxes for free.

There is a very nice pool.

Every night two girls perform in the hall downstairs, so you can enjoy traditional Thai music and dancing.

Twin Towers Hotel

by SR_Eyes

Hi guys,

I would like to get a feedback about Twin Towers from anybody who stayed there before. We (couple with a baby) are planning to stay there for 1 week in June.

Thank you.

I stayed there a couple of years ago, it was OK but seemed a little out of the way, the room I had was quite noisy as it backed onto a railway.

Me again, I presume you meant The Sol Twin Towers.

Stayed at the twin towers in March for one night. Was ok. the room was very large, there was a nail sticking out of the carpet though which was a bit dangerous. room service was good, check-in staff a little snobby. but ok. like i said tho, i was there just one night, arriving late and checking out early.

The Twin Towers Hotel (http://www.thetwintowershotel.com/) is definitely a hotel that is very good value for money. It is very well-maintained and the staff were actually quite nice during my stay as well.

My complaints would be that it is quite out of place and their massage service was more of the "non-traditional special" variety.

Just my 2 cents... :-)
