    Over rated

    by

We stayed in Swissotel Nai Lert Park for four days. The hotel services were generally very good. The staff was very friendly.

However, there were some snags for which I feel, the hotel does not deserve a "5 stars" rating. The towels were frayed and the rooms deco were dated. We were served with damaged cutlery incomplete tableware for two. It is obvious that the staff was inexperienced. It was also under renovation but it was discreetly done.

Unique Quality: The hotel compound is lovely with its lush water garden.

Directions: Chidlom/Ploenchit and not far from Pratunam

    Millenium Hilton

    by

I was quite satisfied with Bangkok's Milenium Hilton Hotel. I have chosen it for my this year second stay in Bangkok because I was attracted by its very nice ambience, friendly staff and food in it's Prime restaurant.
Hotel facilities (restaurants-bars especially, then spa, gym and pool) were excellent. Room was kinda small, but anyway, I wasn't spending much time in it.
Jazz bar on the top of the hotel has an amazing view, and very good drinks. Food, especially oysters, was great in Prime restaurant.

Unique Quality: Ambience, food, spa, drinks, friendly staff

    Swissotel Nai Lert Park Hotel

    by

Probably is the only resort in the city. The hotel is being surrounded by tall trees and large swimming pool that makes you feel yourself of relaxing in a resort. However it's also only just 10 mins relaxing walk that you could get to Central Chidlom. Hotel rooms could be considered as large except that the standard room is a bit worn-out. However considering the facilities, the balconies, the swimming pool and the proximity to the shopping area, you may find this hotel value for money.

    Hotel in the Park

    by

I think this hotel has changed management since the last time I was there. This is a nice place to stay, especially in Bangkok. You would welcome the Nai Lert Park especially when you are in the hectic city of Bangkok. The hotel is huge and the rooms are complete with the ameties you can think of. There are several good restaurants where you can try out local dishes at reasonable prices (compared to the Middle East). Breakfast on the executive floor is not as complete as the one in the restaurant but you get what you need. Plus, the Executive Lounge serves a selection of cocktails at Happy Hour

Unique Quality: Nai Lert Park is a small (more like a big garden) park situated just behind the hotel building. The park is definitely a big plus for the hotel. The pool is also at the park area so after a day of Bangkok, you'd be tempted to spend the rest of your time chilling there. The hotel's location is also pretty good because you could walk to the main shopping centres or nightspots within a few minutes.

    Bangkok's cheap luxury

    by

The service was good and the rooms were very clean. The hotel was under renovation so the rates were probably so good for that reason. Highspeed Internet access was also available.

The breakfasts were included with the bill and were pretty good. I was craving a good old hamburger and room service provided a very tasty burger.

Unique Quality: First rate swimming pool (many a relaxing hour spent there), tennis courts, walking distance to Central Mall and the BTS skytrain.

There is also a hidden fertility shrine with some"angled" statues. The Fertility Shrine at Nai Lert Park features hundreds of phalluses from small wooden carvings to big stone sculptures decorated with ribbons make this shrine quite the unique one. It honors Chao Mae Tuptim, a female fertility spirit. Women visit this shrine when they are trying to conceive, leaving offerings of lotus and jasmine, and if Bangkok gossip is worth anything, the shrine has a good success rate. To get there, go to the Nai Lert Park Hotel and walk to the end of the ground-level garage, where it's on your right. It's open every day until dusk. Skytrain: Chitlom.

Directions: Nai Lert Park, Chitlom, Sukumvit Rd area

Ideal in every way

by TripAdvisor Member Nana_JP

I recently spent 6 nights at the Nai Lert Park while on a business trip. I love Bangkok but the hotel was so comfortable and pleasing that I had to force myself to leave the grounds. The room, while that spartan Asian decor that is so common in this part of the world, was large and comfortable. The bed was luscious and the bathroom had a large shower as well as a soaking tub. And my-oh-my the food was delightful. I had several meals as well as daily breakfast at the hotel and could not possibly tire of the variety of foods offered. The most unexpected part of the Nai Lert Park is the grounds. They are magnificent and so unexpected in the middle of the city. It is truly a park environment and beautifully kept. I also recommend the spa where I enjoyed sauna and probably the most relaxing two hour massage I've ever had. Considering all of this and a wonderful location too . . . I'll be back.

great hotel for businesstraveler

On my way to Chang May I stayed at this hotel for one night.
The staff is very helpfull. The room was fine; quite big and a good bathroom
The hotel is surrounded by a wonderful garden and has a nice swimmingpool.
Breakfast is excellent.
I would say it is a very good (business)hotel and although it is big I would recommend it very much.

Yup, Swissotel Nai Lert Park is definitely 5 star. It is a fantastic place run by Raffles International and so you can be assured of some standard. Very Zen-like and spacious interiors. It's a 5 ~ 10 minutes walk to Chitlom BTS, depending on how fast you walk.

I loved it when I was invited to the place last year for a friend's wedding.

You will definitely enjoy your stay there.

Just my 2 cents.... :-)

HI there,

I stayed at the Nai Lert last year. Well, it´s indeed an upgraded, stylish hotel, situated in a nice, small park. Breakfast is good, but the rooms are a bit disappointing. However, the price is more than fair for a hotel of this class. It´s not far to the skytrain station, just a short walk.
A good place for relaxation.
Another option would be the Holiday Inn Bangkok. It´s renovated and nice designed, cheaper and directly in the middle of the shopping malls like Gaysorn, World trade center etc...

Enjoy your stay in this fantastic city

Ciao from Bremen
