THE ORIENTAL HOTEL
My luxury holiday continues as I moved to one of the most prestigious hotel of the World. I was ruined after these stays but as I said before it is those ONCE IN A LIFETIME things where money does not matter!
This is a painting of the OLD building: the ORIGINAL ORIENTAL Hotel. No rooms are available anymore here. It hosts today the Author's Lounge where tea is served.

Unique Quality: Outstanding service, beautiful rooms, all the amenities. I loved this hotel and it is still one of my favorites in the world.

Oriental Hotel
For real oriental luxury in Bangkok, stay at the Oriental Hotel.
If you just wanna visit or have breakfast or a snack on the river terrace, you better go have a shower and wera your best suit. I tried to enter "as a tourist" (T-Shirt and so) and they didn't let me in!!!
But if you go through, sit and watch the long tail boats speed by. Look at the ferries on this hustling and bustling river.

'Best hotel in the world'
The Oriental Hotel has regularly been voted the best hotel in the world. Try to get one of the rooms at the corner for a superb view over the river. Those who can't afford the stratospheric room prices should at least have lunch in the hotel coffee shop, which offers exquisite food served with Thailand's legendary smile. The pool is not the best in Bangkok but is frequently empty: those who can afford the Oriental tend not to be young and energetic!

Cooking class
I am thinkng to learn Thai cuisine by attending an one-day cooking class. Does anyone recommend me any cooking schools in Bangkok?

You can try any of these places:
1. Blue Elephant Cooking School (B2,800 per day, close to Surasak skytrain stop)
2. Baipai Thai Cooking School (B1,400 per day with car pick up from major hotels)
3. Landmark Hotel
4. The Oriental Bangkok (most expensive $100 per day)

I just found another cooking school in Bangkok, called
ABC Cooking Sudio.

But most of the pages are written in Thai, and I cannot know if they have a class instructed in English for tourists. ("Contact us" page doesn't work well)
It's in Siam Squre, so it seems convenient place.
