Windsor Suites ! nothing special at all

Stay there for a we in 2006.
The room size was ok but located close to the elevator and I had some noise all night !!!
The breakfast was nothing special.
The swimming pool was disappointing !!!
The staff quite average

Good value Hotel

Very impressed..................good check-in, Lovely atrium, cocktail bar is very expensive. Rooms (all suited) are spacious, clean and well appointed although maybe a little tired and in need of a refurb. The pool on the 14th floor is excellant - fantastic views - but the poolside bar is not cheap! Breakfast was good, lotsof choice and plentiful.

Unique Quality: Great location - just off Sukhumvit near Soi Cowboy and Emporium and within easy walking of both BTS Skytrain and the Underground at Asoke. The Rembrandt, which is also good, though a bit more expensive, is just next door.

Excellent value

Good spacious accomodation in the Counsellor with separate lounge area, marble bathroom, comfortable beds. Service was excellent and the breakfast buffet very good value. The swimming pool on the fourteenth floor is quite large, freeform and the pool area is planted to resemble a jungle.......clever. Warning - drinks in the Atrium cocktail bar and the pool bar are pretty dear, even if they are beautifully presented.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Windsor, its location, within easy walking distance of Asoke BTS station and Emporium (very upmarket shopping mall) also Soi Cowboy had plenty of good restaurants nearby (checkout Nancy Chandlers Bangkok maps [Google search] you'll see what I mean)

I can recommend the Windsor Suites to any one.

Unique Quality: Sukhumvit Road location

Affordable suites in Sukhumvit area

I stayed at the a Counsellor Suite at the Windsor Suites Hotel in 2004. The hotel is the former Embassy Suites Hotel and has been refurbished. Each room is a suite and has a separate living room area. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Asoke BTS station.

Unique Quality: I like the sumptous buffet breakfast spread at the Windsor Cafe - a good start to the day's activities.

Good location

Good location on soi 20 Sukhumvit, you have an other entrance in soi 18. Only suite from 40sqm on this hotel ,
small entrance with seat area and tv,the bathroom and then the room.The service was good and the breakfast really good. It's a large hotel and the lobby is really nice. Even we book 2 rooms you can sleep in four in one suite room, the seat area can be transformed in a double bed.

Unique Quality: Really nice and large pool, only suite rooms, grat view on the skyline of Sukhumvit, soi cwboy is not far.

Bangkok's all suites hotel

Every room is a suite with a great view of Bangkok (if you can stand heights)

Unique Quality: A great pool on the 14th floor...

Thank God for the swimming pool!

The Windsor Hotel is on Thanon Sukhumvit, near the Asok Skytrain station. There are two wings. I actually stayed in the Garden Wing, which is next door to the building in this picture.
The room I had was huge and very comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, but the laundry bill was expensive.

Unique Quality: The swimming pool was where I retreated to each afternoon. It's on the 14th floor of the main hotel building. It's lovely - nice and big with plenty of swimming and wallowing places!
When the temperature got into the low forties, there was really no point in trying to go anywhere else in the city!

Windsor Suites

The average price when booked online was 40.00 dollars US as compared to 75.00 US if book at the hotel. I have added a picture looking out of my 30 floor window facing north east.

Unique Quality: The price for this 3 star hotel was reasonable and worth it for the suite that was provided.
