Novotel Beach Resort and Spa: Novotel beach resort - formerly Courtyard Mariott

Nice large clean rooms (deluxe) with spectacular sea view. The resort has good ambience to relax with large pools and seaside relaxing areas. The beach tough is not ideal for swimming. Staff is very courteous and helpful and the spa is great with excellent attendants who are very pleasant and service oriented.

Great staff with very pleasant attendants.

Breakfast is great with excellent variety of cold spread and hot spread with live cooking station. The food served at the beach side restaurant is also excellent with nice relaxing set-up. Saturday's seafood buffet dinner theme is worth having a go at.

There is also a Seafood restaurant (Pla Too) right next to the hotel if you walk 50 metres along the beach (not accessible during high tide. One has to alternatively take a slightly longer route from the hotel entrance). Though this restaurant is quite busy and popularin the area, the hotel staff will normally refrain from mentioning the same to you even if you ask for a nearby restaruant (apparently they are asked to avoid promoting this restaurant, to encourage guests from using inhouse F&B).

The hotel also has anice play area for kids.

All in all, great experience with family and served the purpose of a relaxing stay.

Nirundorn 3.: A very pleasant option.

This place is a pleasant choice situated on the sea road and close to the centre of things. Rooms are spotless and equipped with satellite TV, refrigerator and en-suite bathroom with warm water (some of the cheaper hotels only have cold water showers). They also have a verandah with a limited sea view, although they do afford a good view of the decent sized swimming pool. Reception is staffed 24 hours a day by friendly, helpful staff who mostly speak English (less so amongst the night workers).

There are bungalows available at 800 baht per night although they do not have the sea view, limited though it is, whereas the hotel rooms are only 600 baht. Visitors should note that there is a 200 baht supplement on Saturday night when the visiting Bangkok weekenders come.

The prices quoted are room rates for a double room, not per person rates.

All in all a very good place to stay at the price.

No unique qualities as such, just a very clean, comfortable hotel.

Springfield Village Golf: Springfield Village Golf Cha Am Thailand

There has never been a perfect game of golf played. However, Springfield has made it very easy for your round to feel perfect. Imagine a golf course where the holes brush the edge of the hills, carving through the trees and terrain.

Cha-am Budget Hotels: Along Ruamchit Rd

Dotted along the 6km Ruamchit Road running parallel to Cha-am Beach, visitors can find a variety of new and old accommodation to meet any budget ranging from guest houses and villas (Approx. 400-600Baht /per night depending upon facilities) to hotels and resorts (Approx. 1,500-upwards Baht per night). Nevertheless, as Cha-am is one of the most popular weekend destinations for Thai’s, take note that availability becomes scarce and that prices are variable and do increase to quite high levels over the weekends and during Thai holidays, so to avoid disappointment, book or call in advance if visiting on holidays.

Fisherman's Village Resort Cha Am: Fisherman's Village Cha Am

The Fishermans' Village resort is in fact at samran beach petchaburi, which is about 25 km north of Cha Am. I am including under Cha am as the resort is often listed under Cha Am, hence this is where potential visitors to Fisherman's Village may look for reviews.
The resort offers suites and villas and a very nice spa. Fishermans' Village resort is in avery quiet and natural beach area along the coast north of Cha Am. There is a Fitness garden. the food in the restaurant is good with a nice selection of dishes. This is for those who seek quiet tranquility at a beach near Bangkok. The resort is about 120 km south of Bangkok.

Quiet and relaxing, nice spa and friendly staff. ideal for those seeking a quiet and relaxing beach hotel near Bangkok in Cha Am.

Springfield Village (Golf & Spa): Breathtaking landscape, good beaches, good hotel

The outlook of the hotel was beautiful and nice, but unfortunately it could be noticed that either the hotel was brand new or the staff was brand new. It happened many times that they forgot things or did them wrong; brought us wrong orders or so. But the people saved a lot - they were so cute, sweet and they really tried their best. The honest excuses and the fear in their faces told everything. It was so easy to say "don't worry at all".

We liked the possibility of having cheap original thai massage at the hotel yard in the shadow; and we enjoyed it several times.

Hotel pool bar and the massage were naturally hotel prices; so those who want to save money should walk out from the hotel's premises and walk a few steps to the right; there are people doing the same massage (better) at minimum price. Also there is a small local bar which is far more cheaper than any of those in the hotel's premises.

I liked especially much the silent beach which was not crowded (I think Hua Hin is more crowded) and the pool area with the pool bar.

The balcony giving to the ocean was great. It was a great place to watch the sun rising and have a drink and a snack before going out for dinner.

Verandah Resort and Spa: Modern Seaside Resort

Verandah and Resort and Spa is located about 15mins away from Hua Hin. It is nicely tucked in a corner within Cha Am with a beachfront view. It's a new and modern four-storey resort with an equally lovely spa, it's quiet and well spaced out. Excellent place to spend a few romantic evenings or for families as well. They serve a really full and well spread breakfast in the mornings! The hotel also provides hourly shuttles into the Hua Hin town should you need to do some night market shopping.
