(Lower floor: Superior Lagoon, Upper floor: Deluxe Lagoon)
These rooms are so much nicer then the rather basic normal rooms in the other wings.
Lagoon rooms are grouped - big surprise - around a lagoon. There are just a few rooms in an old fashioned large Thai house, of course with every modern convenience.
The swimming pool is very inviting due to its very large size and the free form with an island in the middle and the famous loy naam swimm-up bar (with happy hour from 4PM to 5PM) on the side.
Food is excellent from breakfast buffet to dinner.
Remember that this resort is in a big garden so there are frequently some mosquitoes around.
The beach is nice to watch, but not really great for swimming. (We always saw jelly fish warnings and at high tide, the water comes up to the wall separating the hotel from the beach)
Tropical garden setting with comfortable rooms. Marvellous spa around the lagoon.
Stylish Lobby.
