Great Little Place!
My wife and I loved the Baan Bayan in Hua Hin. We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. We had a garden view room that was very spacious and quiet. Comfortable rooms with large bathrooms. Staff is VERY attentive and makes a concerted effort to accommodate guests. Pool area is small but perfect for couples who want to lounge on a chair, enjoy a beverage and stare off at the Gulf of Siam. (Also its great b/c you can see the beach, but don't have to be harassed by all the people hawking junk.) Only complaint was that there were always some random mosquitos in our room after the maids had serviced it - but hey, this is S.E. Asia... they're everywhere. The small feel of the hotel makes it very personal and unique compared to the typical big Marriott resort located next door - but then again if you want crowds and the standard feel of a big-name place, maybe this isn't the hotel for you. Not a great choice for families with small children. About a mile walk up the beach or on the road into town. Book through thaihotels.com for a great rate compared to published rates.

Great hide away
II spent 2 lovely nights here. As there is only 16 rooms available, this is a perfect hide away for anyone wanting to get away from the normal hotel-chain crowd. The room (the suite) is huge and complete with modern amenities. Everything very tastefully decorated, yet it has a 'homely' feel to it.
I totally adored my time here - Will definetly come back !
Unique Quality: 16 rooms, 2 shallow swmming pools, pool bar, pavillons to relax in, 2 minutes to the beach (slow walk) ..... just come and discover yourself ! :-)

Luxury Beach Apartment (fr owner for rent)
IT IS A KIND OF "SECRET". I GOT THIS PLACE RECOMMENDED FROM MY FRIEND, WHO HAVE 2 CHILDREN AGE 5 & 7. WELL, TO STAY IN A HOTEL AS A FAMILY WOULD BE QUITE EXPENSIVE ´COZ YOU GONNA HAVE TO TAKE 2 ROOMS AND PAYING EXTRA FOR EVERYTHING SUCH AS BREAKFAST, DRINKS, ICE-CREAM ETC.
TO BOOK 2-BR APARTMENT, YOU HAVE ENOUGH SPACE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY. YOU CAN ALSO SAVE THE MONEY BY MAKING BREAKFAST BY YOURSELF OR A LIGHT LUNCH. THE APARTMENTS ARE VERY WELL EQUIPPED. THE APARTMENT ITSELF WAS BEAUTIFUL DECORATED. I DON´T SEE THE DIFFERENT FROM A 5* HOTEL. I STAYED WITH MY FAMILY AT "APARTMENT SINGITA" (DECORATED IN AFRICAN-STYLE) AT BAAN SAENPLOEN AND LOVE IT VERY MUCH. I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO FAMILY & FRIENDS. SOME OF THEM WENT THERE AND LOVE THE PLACE JUST LIKE I DO.
