Baan Laksasubha Hua Hin Thailand

An ideal getaway from the sultry metropolis of Bangkok, Hua Hin has been a favorite Thai resort for over 70 years. Home to the Summer Palace of the King, Hua Hin continues to provide a peaceful sanctuary where a picturesque environment coexists with a true sense of historical identity.

Baan Laksasubha Hua Hin

by sarahreynold about Baan Laksasubha

The new Baan Laksasubha Hua Hin is just south of the Sofitel. This is a beautifully designed resort. The owner has taken a great deal of attention to every detail. There is a pleasant swimming pool and the food in the restaurant is very good. The basic rooms are about 58 sqm and even the 1 bedroom suites are 95 sqm in size. The classic style architecture together with the tropical garden features make the Baan Laksusabha a very relaxing place to stay. There are also 2 and 3 bedroom villas available. There is in room Wifi available. Lovely villas and beachside restaurant. Lovely design. Great care and attention to detail. Rooms very nicely furnished.

Car from Bangkok airport to Hua Hin

by pjdubai

A friend and I require transfers from Bangkok International Airport to Hua Hin on October 20, returning on October 26. Can anyone recommend a safe driver that won't charge us the earth for this? Many thanks. PJ

There is no need to book, I would use the Limousine Car service from the airport one way, then arrange a car and driver for the return once in Hua Hin, you will see them on the streets in the center of town with rates displayed, but on arrival at the airport just head to the limousine counter.

Hi,
These are very reliable but it will cost you about £68 (4,900 baht),
orientalescape.com/service/transfer/huahin.html#car1.

The train is extremely cheap air conditioned and takes you to the centre of Hua Hin.(very regular service i think ???)

Thanks for the info. I have a car organized now. A guy on another travel blog recommended a driver he has used before. The one way trip will be 2000 baht.

Cheers

Hi,

Another cheaper way to travel to Hua Hin is by bus. U can take a taxi from the airport to the Southern Bus Terminal which will set u back by less than 200 bht. From the terminal, buy a one-way bus ticket to Hua Hin that cost around 100 bht. You can get the return ticket from the terminal at Hua Hin when u reach.

It is a easy, fun and safe way to travel!

Cheers!

Is it possible to take a taxi from Bangkok International Airport to Hua Hin? If so, how much would that cost?

Also, how long would the route from Bangkok International Airport to Southern Bus Terminal to Hua Hin take?

Thank you!

Hiya

The gentleman's name is Mr Roong and his contact details are: roongsayam@hotmail.com. Phone (mobile) 01-1915017 or 06-7689468

We paid 2000 baht each way and it was well worth it. Quick and easy pick up and a relaxed journey in an airconditioned car.

I hope you have a good time.

Hua-Hin

by maffustan

"Basic description"

Hua Hin is a small town where the thais go for their holidays. However judging by the number of western faces and the number of guest houses advertising "full english breakfast" this has become a popular stop off for travellers between Bangkok and the southern Islands.

There must be more shops selling suits here per square mile than anywhere else in the world.
