The sunshine boutique resort

I had a good and affordabel stay at baan talay dao in hua hin (BT). Can check the website out through Asiarooms. Internet rates is the best. My and GF took a 2-hour taxi ride from Bangkok to Hua Hin. Bargain the best rate possible- not more than USD20.

Unique Quality: BT is fairly a small, boutique resort along the beachside. It's nicely tucked in a garden. Dining in BT is limited but can always take a ride to town using the resort transport for other options.

Stayed in the cheapest room (std) but it's so worthwhile. Services is good and breakfast is by the seaside. After bfast can take a good stroll by the seaside. Nice and calm.

Boutique Hotel

The room and the service is impeccable. It is a family run hotel which tries to integrate nature with the surrounding structures. I spoke to the owner and it was his family beach house for the family and they have decided to convert it to some sort of boutique resort.

If you are expecting 5 star facilities then i would suggest the Hilton or the Marriot.

However if you are in to little quaint boutique hotel, you should give this place an opportunity. Breakfast is reasonable and the staff though a bit lacking in their conversational english skills but they would do their utmost to accede to any request.

Unique Quality: Unique Boutique Hotel whereby i was told that no mature trees were chopped down for the construction of the surrounding structure.

The building whereby breakfast is served is a wooden beach bungalow which is real authentic thai architecture of the time.

Bungalows - where to stay at Takiab

by boch

Hi

I am going with my boyfriend to HH from the 2.th to the 8.th of december. I have tryed to book hotel at the Kaban Tamor and the Sabai Jai but they were out of rooms. I know they are small places...:(

Does anyone know similary places at the Takiab beach or bay? Around 2-3000 bath. I have looked on the internet, but cant seem to find anything. Like to have my own bungalow at the beacharea. Dont like tall hotels...

Thanks....

On Takiab Beach Kaban Tamor and Sabai Jai were good options, Sabai Jai is about the only one with the cabin/cottages, Kaban Tamor has those individual rooms ( 1 up 1 down ), although not bungalows ( which if Sabai Jai full I think you have no other options in that price range at all ) another chocie could be Baan Talay Dao, it's low rise small place on the beach, worth looking at, the Baan Dunagkaew is a small group of 12 individual cabins around a pool, but you have to walk down about 100 meters to the beach, if you look at those 2 you can see the difference but out of the 2 I would go for Baan talay Dao ( next to Sabai Jai ). All those are Takiab beach, the only accommodation around the corner in Takiab Bay with something like that is the Anantasila Resort, they have hotel style rooms plus bungalows but the bungalows are behind the hotel area near the car park, they are not listed on many booking services but are on :http://hotels-huahin.com/anantasila/index.html
Others on the bay area are the high rise Bluewave which I don't think you'd like being a rather old high rise, the Takaib Beach Hotel which is behind it, but that is a small hotel on several floors with a pool and fairly budget.
There are some small budget bungalow places, the only other place is the Ocean Breeze but that is a small boutique B&B with only an indoor dip pool, about 100 meters to the beach, so that probably won't suit. www.khao-takiab.com has all those.

I personaly would try for the Baan Talay Dao, I think it comes closest, though I think it's about 3,500.
