Hello Wonderful People !!
My Wife and I will be visiting Hua Hin for the first time and my queries are as follows
1] What the simplest and best way to reach Hua Hin from Bangkok Airport
2] What are some decent and cozy hotels in Central Hua Hin { budget is about 2000 to 2500 THB
3] What are the must see places in Hua Hin

Many hotels in Hua Hin will fit your budget.
As for getting there from the Airport proberly take a taxi to The Southern Bus station in Bangkok and get a bus from there to Hua Hin about 2 and half hours away.
I don't know if there is any transport direct from the airport it maybe possible you have to check out it out when you arrive but I'm affraid I have not been to Thailand since the new Airport has opened.

Pre booked car service varies B 1,800 to 2,650 each way
What you get for your budget depends on time of year. Popular central location mid range hotels include Wannara, White Sands, Peony. If you go further along the beach south lots more choices, Chom View, Baan Talay Dao, Mantra.

I'll be there in November. Last year we booked a transfer from the airport with a merc. Can't remember the price, but very convenient there and back 2 1/2 hour drive. Hua Hin is a terrific place, nice and clean, very relaxing place with hundreds of bars good and bad, but tastes to suit everyone.

November rain in Hua Hin
by bulldogtwo
For the most part the rainy season should be over. You may still get some rain and cloudy days, but the rain will only last a short time, 15 minutes, 30 minutes and then stop. A lot of the times it'll just rain at night.
have fun
Hua Hin Golf Courses
by sarahreynold
Hua Hin and also the Cha Am area are famous for the large number of excellent gof courses. Greens are busy at weekends. There is an excellent choice including Springfield, the original Hua Hin Golf Course, Lake View and many others. Some of the Golf Courses also have resorts located at the courses where you can stay in hotel accommodation, as Hua Hin Golf Course hotels and resorts. There are many courses within easy distance of both Hua Hin and Cha Am where you can stay at their hotels or hotels close to the Golf courses. Golf Courses have golf equipment for hire
Try out any of the food!
by spitball about All Of The Above
All of the food I tried in Thailand (in general) was very good, perhaps my taste-buds really had been lacking this food for such a long time, that what ever I ingested, hit the spot completely. So, I really don't have any specific restaurants in mind here, if you love this food, then you'll really love the real thing, to be located in all area's of Thailand.
Since Hua Hin is a fishing port, seafood is what is featured mostly, and delicious it is.
Spa and Massage the natural way
by Monica_lo
These days every place seems to be adding a spa so it was charming to find an original and 'natural' style at the Nirvana Spa Retreat in Hua Hin. Forget concrete and plastic and modernity, this is an old Thai house with tropical gardens and a small dip pool. The music is 'old' Thai style, staff are in Thai costumes and the whole experience is quiet serenity. Massage, reflexology, manicures, free flowing fruits and juices and vegetarian snacks, this is really a place to unwind and discover the 'calm and peace' of Thailand. We paid about SGD 60, that's about USD 40 for 3 hours of pampering, a bargain, Not to be missed!
Canal trip
by kyoub
A four km canal trip along the Khlong Khao Daeng is a great way to spent an hour or so.
It is a good way to stay cool in the evening, or a great place to see birds early in the morning.
The scenery is breathtaking and you may spot a monitor lizard out for a swim or some monkeys swinging through the branches.
You can ask for someone to take you at the park headquarters or just go to the village and find someone like we did. The fisherman and his wife didn't speak english but they figured out we wanted a ride.
