New and Good value for money
I have booked this new hotel online with www.agoda.com because the price is very attractive and they instant confirmation even for short notice bookings.
The hotel is brand new and you can see here and there that they just finished the construction. The rooms are very modern with big Tv, tile floor, nice balcony and modern Thai contemporary funiture. Bathroom has a big glass cabin with hand and rain shower.
I have stayed in a deluxe room which is very big and has an additional bath tub. Since my room was on the 5th floor, I had a nice oceanview.
The pool is very nice but not too big and due to its location, the pool will be in the shadow from 3.00pm onwards.
Service is OK, staff is very nice and polite, but not very experienced yet. I have tried the restaurant which offers great food and a resonable price, but there are also many restaurants in walking distance. they have a nice looking spa, but they where still decorating it when i stayed there.
The beach of Khao Tkiap is much nicer than the other beaches of Hua Hin, with lots of sand and palm trees. It takes about 10min to walk to the beach from the hotel.
Unique Quality: value for money is great. The rooms and facilities are all new and on 4 star standard. But since the hotel is not located on the beach, the price is more 3 star.
Great for aweekend trip from busy Bangkok and for beach tourists who want to save on accommodation costs. There will be a golf course near bye soon, called BANYAN.

Value for money Hua Hin Hotel
The new Rapalai Resort and Spa hotel has recently opened in the up-coming popular Khao Takiab area of Hua Hin. The Napalai is about 10 minutes walk to the beach at Takiab Bay and you can also walk in about the same time to the South beach of Hua hin at Khao Takiab. very pleasant area away from the now very busy central Hua hin town area. Rooms are very pleasant and service friendly.
