Descent choice
6 km outside of town by Ta-kiab beach.
It’s less than 200 meter from the beach but unfortunately has NO sea views as it is overshadowed from the Bluewave hotel right in front of it. There is a small pool if you need to relax (while not being on the beach).
Buffet breakfast is nice, the room we had was very spacious and with 2 large beds.
The lobby and the restaurant area are not anything to mention.
Until late in the evening you are able to use the scheduled bus from Bluewave hotel to Hua Hin centre for a minimal fee. Otherwise you need transportation to move to city center which adds extra cost.
Overall nice but I am sure with accommodation booming there are better options closer to the center. It is highly advisable to stay in town. You'll enjoy lively night life without the need to think of taxi ride back home (unless you want sea view from your hotel)

Excellent service!
The hotel is situated at the quiet and beautiful Takiab beach. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff is extremely helpful. I lost my passport in Hua Hin and the staff drove me to the nearest police station, helped me with all the papers and expected nothing in return! A great example of Thai hospitality!
The reception closes around 22 pm. There is a night guard, but you have to make a lot of noise to wake him up ;-)))
