Central to everything!

We chose to stay Blue Star Guesthouse which is located on the main street of Kanchanaburi (where the restaurants and guesthouses are) and has rooms on the river. Blue Star has various rooms to choose from ranging from 150 - 650 Baht. We stayed in a 550 Baht Bungalow on the river with its own bathroom and airconditioning. The room was extremely confortable and far enough away from the main street to block out noise. The Guesthouse has a restaurant and tour booking service and the staff are happy to help you in anything you need. We even had beers and danced with the staff during the Song Kran Festival!

If you're on a budget then the Blue Star Guesthouse is the perfect place to stay while in Kanchanaburi.
