On An Island
This is a very peaceful place on an Island with lots of trees and the river all around .As the weather was cool here in October we went for the Thai style bamboo house-boat with thatched roof.The house had a fan ,private bathroom and a belcony that over looked the river.The price 850 baht per person including 2 meals and boat to and from the Island. .Across the river is a really nice little street food market late afternoon where you can stock up on very cheap food and snacks.The staff at Kasem were extreamly friendly and the dinner and breakfast was great.GREAT!
Unique Quality: Private Island in the river,nice restaurant with good food,nature, a swimming pool,peaceful house-boat,fishing and great view.

kanchanaburi
My 2 friends and I will be travelling from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi on 1 July. The highlight of our trip to Kanchanaburi will be the tiger temple. We need accommodation in Kanchanburi for a night. Can you recommend any place for 3 women travelling alone? Clean, safe, approx B600 per person per night?

Q: How Far? "Hi Does anyone know how far it is from Xanadu Resort to Erawan and Hell fire Pass? Also transport cost.Thanks a lot"
A: "Erawan N.P. is 32 miles from Xanadu Resort and Hellfire Pass museum is about 12 miles and is free. Can't find a price on the cost but it cant be very expensive."
