Good choice at White Sand beach
Not the cheapest but a good budget option on White Sand beach with a huge, clean fan room for 1100 baht incl buffet breakfast. Nice pool to look out and use.
Unique Quality: Good access to swim and snorkel in sea.
Very close to White Sand beach bars and restaurants but quiet

Bungalows near the beach
Plaloma Cliff, right near the beach.
OK.. This place is OK. The bungalows are on the coast but not on the beach. It is a three-minute walk from the beach actually. Why is this? Well, because of tides. There are no hotels right on the beach in Koh Chang because the tides make the beaches "disappear" at night. However, there are hotels closer to the beach, but therefore more expensive.
The rooms are OK. Very basic, but there are bathrooms.
The restaurant is OK too. This place is recommended for backpackers, but it is not a great spot if all you want to do is relax and have some luxury.
Unique Quality: They are currently building some beach front bungalows.
