Good Time Resort, Koh mak: Remote and Thainess

From the beginning (booking) to the end (payment) service was good and worth the price.

View over the other island. Great service and beautiful setting. Original architecture. You get a lot for what you pay.

Good Time Resort: Thai-houses on Koh Mak

My family had a very relaxing time on the peacefull island Koh Mak. The island is very remote and peaceful. We stayed for a week and did not miss any of the big-city facilities. Just relax at the beaches and enjoyed the teak-wooden (big) houses. The host was very friendly and showed us arround the island and with our island-hoppings.

Thai-style villas, big and very private. Big gardens arround the houses and a sweet little pool in the garden. Sea-view from the second floor. Very nice beaches are just a few minutes away.

Monkey Island Resort: Relaxed and beautiful

Friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant OK, the seafood is fantastic, especially when they serve the 'catch of the day'. It's not a rip off and there are only 15 bungalows (not 40) as written in the Rough Guide.
If you are looking for a quiet, relaxed place at the beach, this is it.

Situated along the long beach at the southside of Koh Mak, with a wonderful view over the sea with beautiful sunsets. Nice place to snorkel and the neighbouring resort offers a snorkel trip.

Monkey Island Resort: Be a Banana

Monkey Island Resort is located in a coconut grove on the edge of Tukata Bay

"Stylish & Trendy but expensive."

There are 3 Types of room

"Gorilla Hut" (Beach Front) Large, family-sized, air-conditioned hut.
Rate=2800 baht per night.
Maximum 4 adults.

"Chimpanzee Hut" (sea view)
High-cellinged huts, cooled by fans, featuring verandahs to enjoy splendid views, and open-air bathrooms for moonlight showers. Rate= 1700 baht per night.
Maximum 3 adults.

"Baboon Hut" (Beach Front)
Smaller huts with Fan , Shared-bathroom. Rate=700 baht per night. 2 adults.

This time i stayed in Baboon Hut. It's great. Perfect for 2 adults ,also can be up to 3. Fan cooled is ok,you can enjoy sea breeze at night. (That's way u come to the beach right ?,why air conditioning ;-) and pay more )

It is so splendid resort but expensive. The resort is constructed of natural materials and decorated with local handicrafts to blend with and enhance the beauty of their natural surroundings. I love their room key ,please find "why I love it" from my Ko Mak Travelogue ....

Water supply all day long. But electricity is from 10am-2am. If lucky u can get that all day.
