"Surburban Nonthaburi"

Nonthaburi was once part of the capital Krung Sri Ayuttahya.It is now a surburban province 20 km north of Bangkok ,where the Chao Phraya River and various canals pass through.It makes for a good day trip and is easy to get to by bus,taxi or boat.
Nonthaburi is also home to a number of major Thai prisons, of which Bang Khwang and Khlong Prem ( the bangkok Hilton)are the most infamous.

"Nonthaburi; My home , my town..."

I've lived here since I was born.

Nonthaburi is situated in north of Bangkok. From Don Muang International Airport, Nonthaburi is actually nearer than going to downtown of Bangkok.

I live between city-ness and rurality, which is very convenient. I breath in fresh air and I can also travel to Bangkok easily.

"How to get here..."

Nonthaburi is situated in a fertile basin on the bank of the Chao Phraya River. Therefore, travelling to Nonthaburi can easily do either by car or by boat.

"Where to go..."

Lots of attraction in Nonthaburi; Temples with histories, tiny island in Chao Praya River where you can find the other way of life style called "Ko Kret", orchid farm "Bang Sai Garden", plants market along Taling Chan-Suphean Buri route Via Bang Kruai and Bang Yai Districts etc.
