The royal temple where used to be a residence of King Rama III's grandparents and a birthplace of his mother.The King built this temple in honor of his ancestors in 1847 AD. and finished in King Rama IV 's reign.
Important buildings are Ubosot ,Vihara,Sala Karn Parien (Gathering hall),Stupa ,Drum Tower & Bell Tower.Almost buildings are the mixture of Chinese and Thai style and decoarted with ceramic imported from China.

Nonthaburi is one of the border provinces of Bangkok where the Chao Phraya River and various canals pass through, so life with water way along the river can be seen there and the last pier for the Chao Phraya Express Boat is there. So if you want to visit the province,make a day trip by taking an Express Boat from Bangkok up north to Nonthaburi will be a great idea, average time on boat less than 1 hour.
