Wedding Party
by TripAdvisor Member Couple-AM
Since many years we come to Amari Orchid Resort & Tower in Pattaya to spend our holidays here. But this year was a very special one, because we decided to celebrate our wedding together with our family and friends here. We stayed in the sea-facing junior suite of the Ocean Tower on the 14´th floor, which is charmingly decorated with modern and elegance furniture. What is so unusual about these suites are, they are complete with a unique open bathroom and modern walk-in shower design. But the highlight of this room is the panoramic and first of all a stunning view of the ocean bay and the down town of Pattaya with all this neon light magnificent. That was a tremendous experience for us, an unbelievable feeling to get a fantastic sea view directly from our bed.
The next highlight of our stay was the staff; everybody in the whole resort gives you a smile and takes care about you; one of the best is the staff at the pool. They are really not only trying to fulfil all your wishes, the do it indeed. That’s why you can join your stay with the best feeling. Do not forget the excellent food in the whole Amari. Henry J Bean’s a Mexican restaurant where you can enjoy a selection of delicious steaks and burgers. Live music is playing there. Or you try the Mantra Restaurant & Bar; nowhere else in the world you can eat better. They serve Asian and Mediterranean cuisine in a ‘cool’ stylish modern and indescribable atmosphere.
After the Wedding Ceremony we stayed in this hotel another 2 weeks for our honeymoon. And this was a very good decision, because they all cared about us on the highest level what you can imagine, we enjoyed Sivara Spa for a few days with a total relaxation, their spa treatment allowed time to unwind and chill out, the feeling after this excellent massage was unbelievable.
The decision to celebrate our wedding in Amari Orchid Resort & Tower in Pattaya was only right, and we are happy about it. We will have only nice memories and we can only recommend to everyone to do the same as we have done - that is to say - celebrate your wedding and honeymoon here, you will not regret it.
We want to thank all the staff of the hotel for everything, what they have done to make this special event perfect for us.
Best regards Couple-AM
Excellent Hotel!

Had the good fortune to stay at the Amari Orchid on a short business trip in May and thought the hotel was excellent.
The room and facilities were superb and the staff were considerate, friendly and extremely helpful.
Definately looking forward to staying there again the next time I am in Pattaya.
Faulty Design

I staid here for 4 nights with friends in 1 Junior Suite in the Tower and a Tower Deluxe Room on the 16th Floor. Whilst the view was excellent, the room design however modern provided no privacy, if you had friends coming in and out of your room - They can hear you having a bath or using the toilet etc....
Best of all their staff feel you dont need locks in the toilet or shower room - So if your friend / partner walks into the room and heads to the loo - pray that you are not in.
The bathtub is right behind the bed and fully open - making it unusable - The A/c hits you straight while having a bath - There is a construction sight right next door and all the workers get a great view of your room from the lovely glass windows (which are not tinted). 3 times during the stay the lifts got stuck - once even with the checkin staff. My safe got locked out and it took them 2 hours to get it opened delaying my departure. All this in a new Star property !!! Their garden wing is way better, at least its quite and things work.
Construction works starts right from 6AM in the morning and it is really loud and noisy
The so called suite - is nearly the same size as a deluxe room, and the only difference is you have a sofa and JVC music system - not a separate living area as in most hotels.
Take the Dusit or any other hotel
Perfect vacation

First time at Pattaya. First 2 night we stayed in a terrible hotel - then we found Amari Tower, and booked immediately. Great new hotel. Really nice rooms - like the "all in one room" concept. Housekeeping always very nice, smiling and helpful. The poolstaff - the 2 guys We called them Joe end Joe :-) one calleds Nizit or something, anyway they were just fun. Execellent service, always smiling, played with the children. Tried the spa once - got a great masasge - and the massagerooms were were tasteful with douche and very clean. Pattaya might not be the best city travelling with children - but behind the hotels walls everything was peaceful. And even the kids thougt it was fun seeing the spectacular citylife. Great stay - would like to come again.
Great staff, excellent price

Excellent price. I went for the upgraded room and it was modern and in great condition.
Thanks too for the staff giving us an early checkin at 5AM from our flight. That was really appreciated.
Lovely experience

We stayed at the Amari Ocean Tower for 2 nights in July 2008 and loved the hotel. The landscaping and interiors of the hotel are truly phenomenal. Very comfortable room with a contemporary design and great sea-facing view. The restaurants deserve a special mention.
Wonderful Stay at Amari Tower
by TripAdvisor Member BangkokTraveller131
I have now stayed at the Amari Tower on several occasions for long weekends. This really is a great hotel and a wonderful way to spend a weekend break. The Tower is very new and has an upmarket boutique feel to it. Spectacular views give a real "wow" factor. My girlfriend loved it.
The friendly staff and support all helped (I had to change my plans at the last minute and they were very, very helpful in facilitating things for me).
The hotel is at the quiet end of the beach and is very private with several well-designed pool areas to relax around. On the other hand, the bars and nightlife are only a short distance away. Within 10 minutes you are in the middle of things.
One thing that is worth trying is the Mantra Restaurant. This offers an excellent choice of menus, is (again) well designed and must be one of the coolest places in Pattaya. I visited with my girlfriend and her friend and the food was wonderful, service was excellent and very friendly and after a drink in the Mantra bar we enjoyed a wonderful evening in the restaurant . A great venue and all were impressed.
Overall I cant think of anything negative to say. On the contrary, I would highly recommend a visit. A small tip: let them know its your first visit and see if they make it worthwhile. Its a competitive market and for me the Amari Tower has placed itself very firmly at the top of the league table. Great rooms, great staff. Nice pool area, good food and they made me feel very welcome. I hope to be visiting again soon.
a great place to stay

We went for a 3 night relaxing stay in Pattaya and did not know what to expect except aiming at a relaxing time at good values.
Amari got most of the points we wanted from the reviews and it was a great experience.
Room:
5 star setting, all mod cons
If possible, try to get the "real" ocean view room as we only got a partial one (ok, it was an "upgrade" booking and we decided not to worry about the difference :-))
Service and Food:
Land of Smiles at its best. From hotel restaurant (don't miss out the "Mantra" restaurant, a Buddha bar-like experience at reasonable prices). Staff very attentive and understood our concerns for safety. On our last day, we checked out and had an island trip but returned 2 hrs later than expected for our luggage. The concierge even called the boat owner to make sure we got back ok and made arrangements for a later airport taxi.
The ICE bar was a little known secret with live music.
Great for young couples and families.
Will visit again
