If you mean Cabbages and Condoms in Pattaya, it's luxurious hotel. So i guess girls friendly. I used to chcek hotel rate but it's over my budget.the resort belong to ex minister who promote using condom in Thailand...

Travel Tips for Pattaya

Quiet Beaches

by Joseph69

If you have some extra time (even just for one night), I suggest a trip to Koh Samet. It's a fanstatic island south of Pattaya.

To get there, you may get a taxi and boat combination. If you're in a hurry, take a speed boat straight to your bungalow.

Yes, there are many bungalows on the beach at Koh Samet. The water is also very clean as compared to Pattaya. There are no big resorts and no highrise buildings.

At night, there are many restaurants which you may sit (or lie-down) on the beach (they do provide tables and mats) and enjoy a peaceful dinner under the stars and listening to the soft splash of the waves hitting the beach.

I really do recommend going to Koh Samet. In fact, if you don't want to go to Pattaya, you may go straight to Koh Samet from Bangkok.

Travel time from Pattaya is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
Travel time from Bangkok is approximately is 3.5 to 4 hours.

Motorbikes on Rent

by harjeev

Hi guys
I visited Pattaya last year and took this Honda on Rent. it was a good bike I took it on rental for 3 days. Actually this was the second Bike that I took. There was something wrong with the first one (maybe the battery was out or something wrong with the starter) wasted about 100 Bhats on fuel :( They changed it immediately with a little fuss.
Anyways this second bike was really good, about 600 CC and worked out good for three days.
The asking price was about 700 Bhats a day but I negotiated 1500 Bhats for 3 days. (Bargaining works everywhere in Thailand) So I saved about 600 Bhats . Further the client is required to leave their passport in original which I was hesitant at first but it all worked out and I got my passport safely back. No harm done.
Though bike rentals can be found everywhere in pattaya please do not forget to go straight to the petrol pump as there is very less fuel when they give it to you. The address is 2 Pattaya Land Soi 2. There is a 7/11 on the main beach road soi 2 & this bike rental is in the same soi onto the left. ALso please check the bike for any damages. Though my bike did not have any the horn did not work and belive me a working horn is very essential on your vehicle in Pattaya. :)

(i have attached two other pics of Harley. i did not take it as she was asking too much for the bike . very expensive about 2000 Bhats for 1 day)

Maybe this is useful

Good service and good food

by lrusername about Cool House

This restaurant is a nice small place that you will find it different from other because of the service and the price, this kind of service you will find it in a nice hotel, its not intrusive, the staff and manager are really polite and well trained. The food is really good, they have a mix of Thai and Western food, and at night there is live music, there are 2 rooms one with aircondition and the other one is an inside patio. DUCK IS REALLY GOOD and basically evey dish that I ordered was very good and tasty, I recoment the coconut juice blended, they blend it with the coconut meat which gives it a nice taste.

Advice on staying in Pattaya

by HintonD

"Pattaya Advice"

Pattaya is a huge city and has everything needed for a good holiday. It is popular with families from Eastern Europe but neglected by families from elsewhere. This is largely due to the reputation Pattaya has with the sex trade. It is there but Pattaya remains a safe and fun place to be enjoyed by all.
Pattaya is also cheaper than Bangkok. It is well worth a visit....and you can afford it.
