One of the best locations in Pattaya
I decide, after looking at the beautiful photos of the sea from a balcony, to upgrade my room. I got the city view balcony room. This turned out to be bad choice. The room was OK, the view did not exist.
The rooms in this hotel are arranged around an open center. The first floor has various shops and the hotel entrance. The outside wall, balcony rooms, looks at the alleyway that is now part of Pattaya walk. This is an area of small kiosks stretching from beach road to second road. The view is of the building next door. If you hang out over the balcony, you can see the sea in the distance.
The breakfast is good, the hotel is mostly quiet, except when an alarm went off in a lower lever business. The bath is very clean, as is the room. The TV is new, but there are no good English channels. The local cable company offers a much wider assortment than the 26 channels in this hotel. They would be wise to change.
The rooftop pool is good with a great view of crazy people para-sailing behind over-powered boats with young Thai men driving who probably have no credentials to drive a passenger boat.
Unique Quality: Great location, comfortable rooms. Just don't waste money upgrading to the better room. It is just not that much better.
