Fantastic deal in the heart of the action

This is a good hotel to stay in if you want solid amenities while being in the very heart of the action, while still being on a budget. Room is tidy, efficient and has AC. This is a good deal all around. The most popular soi's 7 and 8 are right out the door. The beach is walking distance as well. No safe in the room and the front desk was a little surly, but still a great deal. There are safety boxes at front desk, so make sure you get the money you need for the night out by 9pm, when access to boxes are closed for the night. Really an excellent, inexpensive deal with a fantastic location. Free Breakfast buffet as well. Was decent, but what did you expect for free.

Mr. King Salad

by RoyJava about Sizzler

Ofcourse the Sizzler is well-known by most of the tourists, so why not having dinner here at Thai Pattaya. It is one of the very busy restaurants, easy to reach (ground floor Royal Garden Plaza, next to Marriot Hotel) and a big hit for the salads. Mr. King Salad allows you to go for the salad as many times you wanna go up (about 150 Baht) ...

Keep in mind the chocolate cake and some jelly sweets, those are included, too! Dangerous thing is you may gorge yourself on the salad, especially when very hungry. We committed ourselves and went too fast at the first time, dummy we-fooks. Completely stuffed we went for the chicken dish and spare ribs (for about 150 baht each). So go for a slow start, so you have some room for the main dish. Very good for the whole family!

Covering an area of close to 40 acres, the compound comprises rock gardens and a botanical garden of rare plants and beautifully landscapes. Top sights include fossilized plants over a million years in age and a 200-year-old Thai style bonsai, plus dwarf horses, ostrich, crocodile pools and a collection of rare animals such as albino bears. Orchids in the streets

by filipdebont

Due to special events, they put flowers in the streets. Like last November a lot of trees were decorated with beautiful orchids.

This time a member of the Royal family was going to visit Pattaya.

There were also a lot of Royal flags in the streets. (And a lot of police)
