I know that there are limos that leave from the airport all the time but they are not cheap.
There are shared van rides that pick up at hotels and bring you to Pattaya. Some travel agencies make arrangements for limo services and the shared van rides. These vans hold around 8 or 9 people.
Some taxi cabs are larger than the normal Honda/Toyota's you see around town maybe one of them will work. The hotel desk clerk can call a taxi company for you and ask about the larger vehicle.
Two meter taxi cabs going to Pattaya may be the same price as one limo.
Or, you can take the VIP bus out of the Ekamai bus station, Sukhumvit Road (off a Skytrain stop.) The price for the 2.5 hour bus ride is around 120 baht per passenger. Get the bus ticket from the Pattaya window, right side of bus terminal.
On any bus, train, taxi or plane keep your passport, money, valuables or electronics with you at your seat or in sight.

Travel Tips for Pattaya

A walk along the downtown waterfront is really an interesting treat..lots of people watching..etc//The malls just off the waterfront are really good with the same merchandise sold on the streets without the hassles
Pattaya Taxis

Local taxis in Pattaya are usually a Ute (Small truck) with an overhead canopy over the top with space with people to sit down in the built in seats making it easier for people to get off and get on for each journey. Prices vary depending on how far you want to travel and it is usually inexpensive usually around the 10-20 baht price. You just flag one of these taxis down (before they start beeping out to you) jump on and then pay for the fare when you reach your destination. You can stop at any time by pressing the buzzer.
The car taxis in Pattaya are usually used for when a tourist or local wants to get to Bangkok or to Pattaya from Bangkok. I paid 1000 baht for a one way fare to Bangkok from Pattaya and arrived in the time I specified. Bookings can be made from any travel agent and you can choose which kind of vehicle you wish to travel in. and I used the Travel agent opposite the In Town Holiday Hotel.
Unique thai style bungalow

Really good and a little bit expensive for Pattaya. You have choice of indor with aircon or outside in the lovely garden. Great service and thai style decor, you have possibilty to seat in the ground in thai style.
Jazz at night. Seafood and a large choice of wine.

Tanning @ Ko Larn

Pattaya's beach is not superb thus we decided to take a boat out to a more 'nicer' relaxing island from Pattaya.
Thus we ended up paying 1000 baht for the 13+ of us for a speed boat to Ko Larn also known as Coral Island. It is a pretty nice island BUT tourists and commercial developments have spoiled the island.
An alternate transport is the slower ferry which costs about 200baht, i think.

"Love the place"
Well i was in pattaya for the second time in my life, just want to say im going back in 8 months love the place.
Pattaya has a beautiful beach front, the people are the most amazing people in the world, i must say the nightlife is a main attraction there but the place has alot more to offer.
