A higher end hotel with flashpacker prices.
This hotel is in a great location in Soi 8. The price caters to people above backpacker accomodations, but do not want to spend luxury resort prices. A perfect balance in the middle. The rooms are compact, but nice. Great lobby area with wonderful front desk. Nice restaurant. An internet service area

High Living at a Low Cost
This hotel was very nice and inexpensive. The rooms are also very clean. I spent 12 days there, and the cost came to about $400-$500. The service was nothing less than outstanding every single time. They will hold your key at the front desk for you if you decide to go out for the night. This way you don't have to worry about losing it if you get too drunk like I did on some of my nights out. I recommend you stay in the B wing if you can. It's more quiet in this wing from the carpet in the hallways.
Unique Quality: The pool is great. They have a bar in the pool with barstools just under the water to sit on and have a drink. Also the menu at the restaraunt caters to several different nationalities with hundereds of items to choose from to eat.

In the middle of all the open air bars!
Flipper house isn't advertised much. I found it by word of mouth from a fellow traveler at one time or another. I have stayed here a couple of times.
They are usually always busy. Safe and secure, however the noise from the bars below may keep you up at night. If your in the pubs until 2 am, then this is the place for you. If looking for a good night sleep, recommend you look elsewhere!
Price- 750-1150 Baht per night
Unique Quality: Facilities: Great Pool on the roof with waterfall, swim up bar, room service till midnight w/great affordable food, hotel bar and restaurant, internet access, laundry services.
Deluxe room has cable, mini bar, king size bed, AC, Phone, Balcony, Shower and Tub!
Suite has same as deluxe with lounge chair and couch, and a bathtub for two people!!!
