Good fun, basic rooms
I've stayed here twice and although it is a fun hotel, the rooms are very basic and a little cramped. Breakfast is fine and location is is good especially for families tht want to avoid Pattaya's other attractions
Unique Quality: Lots of activities for kids around the pool.

Incredible!
I am a huge fan of the Hard Rock franchise and have visited many of the restaurants and hotels. The Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya was no disappointment. This hotel is an oasis in the middle of a dirty and shady city. Don't get me wrong, Thailand has a certain reputation in certain spots but Pattaya goes above and beyond! I have traveled the world and visited some shady spots including Iraq, but I have never felt like I had to watch my back like I did in Pattaya. The beach was filthy with prostitutes and beggers constantly bothering you. This is amusing in the beginning, but quickly gets old. Fortunately, the hotel is isolated from the rest of Pattaya. The pool is enormous and has a great swim up bar. They play organized water sports (volleyball, water polo, etc.) everyday at 1300 hours and everyone gets involved. On the weekend they have an incredible seafood buffet, in addition to the typical Hard Rock menu with some local specialties added. The rooms are very clean and so comfortable and have great views either over the pool and ocean or the city of Pattaya. The actual Hard Rock Cafe is outside the hotel's rear entrance across from the beach. They have live music every night and a good crowd. This hotel is worth mutiple visits, unfortunately, Pattaya is not unless you are a perverted old man who can't meet women on your own. If you are a fan of the Hard Rock brand, then this is a must visit! This hotel is expensive by Thai standards, but this should be expected and you do get what you pay for. Pattaya does have it's own charms, such as fantastic seafood and taking a stroll down Walking Street, but one visit was enough for me.

Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya
YThe Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya is an amazing hotel to stay if you want to stay in the central area of Pattaya City close to shopping, restaurants and other activities. The Hard Rock Hotel is famous for it's music theme which exteends from restaurant and bar areas to the rooms themselves. Staff are very well trained and very amialable. There is a good choice of different rooms style.

One of the best hotels in Pattaya, the Hard Rock Hotel has unique rooms, superb facilities and very well trained staff. The Hard Rock Hotel ha the 'wow' factor, simply a great hotel to stay at in Pattaya.

Hard Rock - Fun for Kids of All Ages
Okay lets start with the not so positive - the rooms are small and the shower is a bit weird - a hybrid shower stall come plunge pool!! If you are facing the pool area then the views are great.
breakfast is very average however the rest of the food is pretty good - including the most amazing 'fudge brownie with ice cream'.
We spent over 10 days in the Hard Rock and enjoyed everyday - would certainly go back.
Unique Quality: The positives - well Hard Rock management should realise that their greatest asset is in fact their staff. Friendly, outgoing, familiar, helpful, pleasant - they really go out of their way to make you feel like you are on holiday.
This is a great hotel for kids - plenty to do with a real fun atmosphere - the lagoon with its man made beach is a major attraction for kids. If the parents want to have a break and leave the kids at the 'little Rockers Club' then you can rest assured they will have fun and will be well looked after.
Excellent weekend buffet with whole roast pig...

For Hard Rockers
During my stay at Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya I can say is that I would give higher rating to Hard Rock Hotel Bali. The location of the hotel is quite isolated from the main Pattaya night life, the main lobby is situated at the back of the pattaya beach. I wonder why they design the hotel such in such way?? the room design is quite nice but I would like to say that their staff is not as friendly as the HRH Bali..

HardRock Hotel, Pattaya
It was fun to be "at the Hard Rock Hotel" because it is quite near the walking street (I wonder why they gave it the name when the street does not walk at all! teehee) and it had a great view of the beach right in front of it. It is more like a museum-hotel since you'd find several memorabilia of the different singers and stars, some dead others very much alive and performing.
Unique Quality: Rooms have different themes. The room we got had huge pictures of the beatles (my husband and daughter are huge beatles fans). The buffet which comes with the room rates is great - a wide selection of dishes, mostly thai and asian of course.

bit overpriced
Rooms are very clean but quite small. The rooms were renovated within the last 2 yrs I would guess. Down comforter and rain shower head are really nice touches. But the size of the rooms is a disappointment given the price. Popular place with young people due to the party atmoshere.
