Top location for this quality hotel. Directly connected to the most exclusive shopping center, the Royal Garden plaza. Open air lobby with nice view of the garden and the pool. I stay in the deluxe room, in the main building, superb beach and pool view. The room is large with confortable balcony. Standard room have only garden view. Superb pool and garden with Thai style restaurant, really good service. 3 entrance, directly from the shopping, from beach road and second road. Superb quality in the center
Update January 2009. At least some, if not all, rooms have been refurbished. I stayed in one of the new rooms, a garden view suite, and have to say it was one of the nicest rooms I have stayed in. They have also opened a slightly larger Executive Lounge. The staff continue to be excellent.
I have stayed at the Marriott in Pattaya four times in the past 3 years. I am a fan of Thailand, but not so much of Pattaya. The one thing that made me return to this most notorious of Thai resorts is this hotel. The level of service, especially if you opt for an “executive” room has been excellent. Although I have to say that last year it was not quite up to the previous years. I do prefer Phuket or Samui, but if I have to go to Pattaya then this is the only place I would stay.
Apart from the standard of the rooms and the very large swimming pool the other great thing is the location. If you want to be right in the heart of things, but blissfully unaware of what is going on your doorstep this is a good place to stay.

The Pattaya Marriott is a tropical style hotel in Pattaya central area. The resort faces the sea with the beach just a few steps away and features its own adjacent shopping mall, restaurants and entertainment outlets. The Marriott is an idea Pattaya hotel if you want a luxury hotel in the center of Pattaya. This is an excellent Marriott resort. One of the best Pattaya Hotels.
