cabaret shows

by saqc

Hi! Is Tiffany's the best transvestite/cabaret show here in Pattaya? Or are there other choices? Also, any idea how much is the entrance ticket? We might also go try parasailing and banana boat (if available) at Coral Island, any idea about how much would that cost?

Thanks very much!

The other show is Alkazar they are both on second road quite close to each other, sorry I can't remember the prices.

Re: cabaret shows

by Sergeyu

Alcazar is definitely teh best. Price is 400THb , or 600THb for "VIP tciket"that includes seating in front rows 1-6 and one soft drink, teh price as well includes pick up from the hotel.

Yes , Coral island ( Koh Larn) is full of offers for water cativities, prices ... eh, don't remember, not a cheap one (as teh Coral island is teh closest beach island to Pattaya)- for banana it ius probably few hundreds bahts per person, and for parasailing I think 1,5-2000THB.

For banana, It costs 900 baht per hour, 450 baht for a half an hour.

Parasailing with speed boat cost about 500 baht per one round.

Have a great time in Thailand.

Travel Tips for Pattaya

Boat Rentals Thailand

by Eikeltje

We spent a very interesting and enjoyable day on 75 foot (23 meter) luxury boat touring, fishing and swimming around the beautiful islands of the Pattaya coast.
Why it was so special was because the boat was so clean and well run up to European standards, we found the crew to be very knowledgeable and helpful with regard to good fishing sites and safe swimming area’s, all the fishing equipment, bait and snorkeling equipment was provided free for our enjoyment.
It was surprisingly cheap considering the size of the boat, the service and the full day’s enjoyment we got from our trip.
We can highly recommend chartering this boat for day trips or longer overnight trips.
The Thai food they served from thier sea food menu on board had a splendid variety of different tasty dishes, all the ice for keeping our drinks cool in the insulated ice boxes and the bottled drinking water was provided free of charge.
We brought with us some of our favorite music CD’s as the boat has a very good music system.
This boat also offers evening cruises during which you can try your hand at squid fishing; the squid are plentiful and delicious when cooked on the open BBQ by the crew.
The most memorable day of our visit to Pattaya Thailand. If you wish to dive there are local suppliers who can provide you with all the necessary equipment.
A good tip in hot weather is to bring along a soft hat, sunglasses and some sun block.

STREET FOOD

by trevndebs about Everywhere

The later the hour, the more streetfood stalls appear it seems.

I loved it but be selective as the locals are partial to deep fried scorpions and bugs.

I preferred to choose the kebab sticks and hot dogs and paid 10 Baht per stick, just the job! n/a

SOM TAM

by RoyJava about Beach & Street Food

Truely this delicious salad is not originally Thai, and coming from Laos. Though the SOM TAM salad is popular in most areas of Thailand. Taste and try it, and you'll know why. Because the salad is made of the young green papaya fruit, it is called Papaya Pok-Pok, too. That is because of the sound "pok-pok" when prepared. It's a beautifully unique and flavor-filled salad that is easy to make, low-calorie (& low priced), and very nutritious. The slightly tart flavor of the young and green papaya combines well with the spice of red chili peppers and the saltiness of shrimp paste and fish sauce, plus the sweetness of palm sugar or honey. I always enjoyed this great salad on the beach (for about 45 Baht!). Take care by ordering the Papaya Pok-Pok or SOM TAM and NOT the one with the little black crabs in it (locals love it!). You'll probably die of the collywobbles ...

Another Pattaya Must-Do

by SLLiew

It seems that every tour will arrange for an evening show of Thai Cabaret show.

Everyone wowed that the dressed up transsexuals are more beautiful than women.

As they dance and "sing", it is good fun for everyone. Then there is picture taking after the show but you have to give a tip.

Go to Sattahip

by Pimilan

You can take the minibus cruise (baht-buses) in Sukhumvit road (blue light-white colour) it go until Sattahip for about 60 baht and it will take about 30 minutes. Nice pier and good seafood restaurant.
