Good thai wine
by Pimilan
Thailand produce red and white wine. Good thai wine is a little bit expensive, around 300 - 600 baht in Supermaket, it come usually from Petchabun Province.
Chateau de Loei, more expensive is consedered the best thai wine. Chateau Grand virache have a taste like really good french wine, Chatemp easy to find even in small supermarket is a good wine.
A good night spent
by jamiesamui about Best Friend Beer Bar Complex
The Best friend complex consists of approx 12 bars, food stalls& a boxing ring in the middle. When you first walk in all you can hear is what sounds like a chorus of chirping birds, hello mister they call but it`s only the "bar girls"trying to get you to sit at their bar.
Probably the main reason you are there is for muay thai(not a high standard)but good fun,so most people sit at the bars near the ring. The boxing starts at 9.00pm finish at 1.00am approx 5-6 bouts(see local customs) Anything cool
Sandwich Kabab
by Arjaree about Street Vendors
Lots of yummy food you can find in Pattaya. Tons of street vendors and seafood restaurants lined up there.
Here in the picture is one of my friends' favorite food shop for a sandwich kabab. Gotta say its very yummy. I had a sandwich kabab several times in Bangkok but this place makes a better taste.
Coral Islands
by bkarjee
Coral Islands are located off Pattaya Beach. They are famous for crystal clear water and water sports. The boat ride turned out to be very adventurous, as it started raining when we were halfway and the ride became very bumpy. It was windy too, and whatever food we got from the mainland was thrown by sudden gush of high speed wind and we were completely drenched. Kids enjoyed the ride. You can go there and comeback in 3-4 hrs. There are plenty of water sports available and they are reasonable
Elephant Sanctuary
by GibJoe
If you go to Thailand you have to ride on an elephant! This was my first experience of riding an elephant and I must say it was a very enjoyable one. The elephants in the Elephant Sanctuary seemed to be cared for quite well, when compared to other places in Thailand where the elephants are chained and in small areas. The ride is around thirty minutes which I would say is enough, at one point the guide on your elephant will get off and ask you for your camera to take pictures of you.
