I need some info about living expensive in pattaya and guide me cheap rent of 1 bedroom house
hi when you say expensive how much you want to pay and what do you want to rent a house or condo and what part of pattaya do you want
Are you looking for a hotel room for a short bit of time or are you looking for an apartment? Or, are you looking to rent a condo? Usually people who intend to stay longer get an apartment or condo. Tourists for short visits more often get a hotel room. There are lots of hotel rooms with air starting from around 500 baht per night on up to over 5000 baht per night.
How much per night or per month are you looking to pay for a place?
In general I find Pattaya cheaper than Bangkok. Hotels are cheaper than Bangkok and Phuket. Local transportation is only 10 baht.
How long do you intend to stay in Pattaya? Renting a flat or condo for less than 1 month us not owrth it, as you can find hotel rooms for less than THB 400/night (12 bucks and less).
A room - long tem in Pattay can start from about 5000 baht pm.
A one bedroom house will start about 8 to10k pm, but you will be at the bottom end of the market.
the further away from the town centre the cheaper you'll find.
You won't find many interested in renting houses for less than a year. Although some 3, 6 month rentals can be found.

Pattaya has all ranges, really. They went through a building spree in the last 10 years, so there is a lot of excess property. Restaurants, if you plan to eat out, generally are not very expensive unless you go to the upscale hotels. Locals seem to like to eat at the malls - go figure. Cinema isn't expensive, nor is beer :). The beach activities (jet ski, parasailing, etc.) are what can cost you. I just got back from a 2 week stay there. I rented an apartment 5 minutes walk from the beach in S. Pattaya. Paid 1000 baht/night (under $30 USD) for a new 48 sq.meter place with king bed, wifi, fridge, cable-tv, aircon, electronic safe, kitchenette. You can check it out: www.beachnetinn.com.
There is no problem finding places in Pattaya with air, hot water, private toilet/shower, TV and maid service starting around 500 baht a night. Some hotels even cheaper for longer stays. But something at 1000 baht per month might be a little crappy. It all depends on how little you can get by with. There are single room apartments you can rent cheaper than hotel rooms but you also pay for the electricity and water use.
If you are looking for a 1st class beach, better go to phuket or somewhere else. In pattaya it's all Bars and expensive restaurants as well as shopping. I will never go back to pattaya, the place was not that good for family vacation.

The bahtbus are easy to found they go all day and night around the city, just catch it and ring for go outside.It cost about 10-20 baht the course, you can book it for a special way you have to negociate for the price
When i first saw the building, i was amazed, its like some palace and when i walked it, is like a royal theater. the place is really grand and u wud tot you are going for some international orchestral show!
Its a 1 hr and 15 mins show of transvestites dancing. the stage is grand and the dances are very well choreographed. and they are beautiful with really good complexion. they are like super stars and everybody in the hall are amazed. I was thinking its not bad to be one of them, how many of us can get to perform in such a grand stage, dress up in really classy outfit and more than thousand people watching and requesting for photo taking? i don't think madonna's concert are so well sold.
the VIP seat is 800baht while the normal seat is 700baht. There is no point getting a vip seat as there are not much different.
the thing i don't like about the tiffany show is we have to pay them 40baht for each photo taken with them. I think they look so class and elegant on stage and they look like superstar as everyone wanna take pic with them. but once they asked us for 40baht, all the elegant and class gone.
There are food stores and night market around there, so you won't get bored if you reach there earlier.
Tattoo artists are scattered throughout the island for temporary henna designs created right on the beach by wandering henna tattoo artists. Tattoos begin at 400 Baht. You can bargain to get a cheaper price.
I din get myself one coz I had a permenant one... Two of my frens did it which cost them 400 baht and 450 baht, respectively.
