Stayed at this hotel for a weekend while attending a conference. Rate is below $50 (I believe 1,600 Baht) - breakfast included.
Actually breakfast was the best part of the stay because the room was bad :p
It wasn't clean ... and I hate that. You know, like hair on the floor, the bed sheet smelled and the shower curtain is moldy.
But hey it's cheap so if you don't care much I suppose it should be considered for its proximity to the bars and restaurants and the beach :)
If you’re looking for a budget hotel that is centrally located then look no further. The Sunbeam is ideal for anyone wanting to be close to all the bars, shops and night life. The hotel has 256 rooms all with air conditioning, balconies and cable TV.
Although the hotel is basic the location is the winner for anyone who likes to be in the thick of the action all time.
The hotel makes a charge for guests staying who are not on the guest registration. Prices are really cheap and the best time to go is during monsoon which is April through to the end of October where you will get free nights equal to every paid night you stay. I.e. pay for 7 nights but stay 14 nights.
Unique Quality: All in all a nice little hotel ideal for any single male or party animal. Guy’s if this sound like you then enjoy!
Directions: Situated in the Enlish district of Pattaya
