Value for money hotel Pattaya
The Woodlands resort pattaya has been one of the most popular hotels for probably about 20 years now, maybe more. We have stayed at Woodlands over the years and out recent visit was just as good. It proves that excellent Management and well-trained staff make a great difference. Woodlands Resort Pattaya is excellent value for money. Comfortable rooms and pleasant staff.
There are so many pattaya hotels, if you have not visited Pattaya before and want to stay in a hotel with a reliable reputation then Woodlands is one of the best choices.

Little oasis from the chaos
Would recommend this hotel and would definately stay again, once inside the grounds it is like an oasis of calm away from the frenetic pace of Pattaya and suprisingly noise from outside was at a minimum, we had no complaints about the room, the service or the general facilities and felt comfortable whilst staying there, our room was a superior overlooking the main pool and would probably scrape into the 4 star catagory
Unique Quality: Prices of food and drink were reasonable for a hotel of this standard but it does tend to put things in perspective a little when a cold bottle of Singha by the pool costs 120 baht for 330ml and from the cornershop a minute outside the hotel a 500ml of the same cold beer is 50 baht.
One piece of advice is to make sure you have your mossy spray with you if you plan to visit the bar in the evening as it is totally open and in one, one hour session, the wife was bitten 17 times............ more than the whole of the rest of our holiday put together. ouch!

Fantastic stay
Hi, I often stay at the Bel Aire Princess on Suhkimvit Soi 5 or the Landmark Hotel for one night and then travel onto Pattaya. If you haggle with the taxi driver you should be able to reach a fare between 1200 - 1500 Baht, the journey shoulsd be about 2 hours. While you are in Bangkok try Gullivers on Soi 5 to eat and drink, otherwise you are surrounded by cheap and welcoming places.
On arrival in Pattaya try the Woodlands resort close to Dolphin roundabout at the top end of beach road Nakula. But to be quite honest all the hotels are reasonable and very comfortable, and a baht bus taxi will only be 20-50 baht all the way down beach road 2-3 miles.
