Phetkasem Hotel: Dated furnishings & a bit far out from town
Even though this place is located some way out from the town centre, it is only about a 10 minute or so walk from the funicular railway that goes up Khao Wang and the Phra Nakhon Khiri Palace. It overlooks an overpass and is a fairly sleepy place as it's run by some middle aged and older women. I had a rather grim room which I got down from 400 to 350 baht but it was a good size with some eight pieces of rather dated furniture plus a fan, a/c, TV and the bathroom was clean but only came with a cold water shower. It was far better than some of the other budget options in the town centre but it is a bit out the way. There's a restaurant near the Royal Diamond Hotel (this hotel is rather posh and a good place to go and watch a game of football on a large TV and have a beer), plus a pizza place further down the main road but that's about your lot. Luckily they do breakfast here which is fairly simple but does the trick. OK for one night.

Rabieng Rimnum Restaurant & Guesthouse: Guesthouse in Phetchaburi
I found this guesthouse in the city of Petchaburi. It 's a wooden house which provided a simple room cost 120 - 240 THB. I didn't stayed here but put this guesthouse in VT as optional choice for other VTers who 'd like to stay in budget price in Phetchaburi city.

Panvipa Garden Home resort: @Puek Tien beach
The new Bangalo in Puek Tien Beach ,located near the beach and the main road. They offered a nice room with air-con,TV,fridge and bathroom (hot shower) . Room Price are 850 - 1500 B. And all bangalos surrounded with well decorated garden.

Porntana Resort: @Kang Krajarn Dam 2
A nice place where offered nice bangalo located along the bank of Petch River. All bangalos surrounded with big tree and garden.

I stayed at this resort for 1 night. This resort offered a clean room with air -con,fridge,TV and attached bath. But at night, I was disturbed by the running of rat on the roof.
