PIROM'S GUEST HOUSE: FRIENDLY OWNER
Check out Pirom's guest house in Surin, it's the best place to stay for a budget traveller. Pirom is retired now and has a wealth of information regarding the area, and is always happy to sit and chat with his foreign guests. He knows where every ruin, every noodle stand, every village is and how to get there. He also has offers some tours which are well worth taking.

Majestic Hotel: Majestic Hotel
The newest hotel in Surin. It's just beside Surin Bus Station. Room begin from 800 THB for deluxe room with air-con,TV,bathroom with hot shower and bath tub,balcony,big closet,.. and also Breakfast. I stayed in deluxe room which was new, big and clean and also good scenery of Surin town.

Thongtarin: Luxury in town
I was just on my work trip and staying here just for a night. Not easy to walk around if you want to stay here and wander in town. If you don't want to have a meal in the hotel, you have to drive to some other areas of the town. We had a dinner at local restaurant near bus terminal. All in all it was just comfort like other 4-5 stars hotels in any upcountry area.

Majestic Hotel: Newest Hotel in Surin (2005)
The Majestic is the newest hotel in Surin (opened late 2005). It is a modern hotel with luxurious, cozy and classic design. All rooms, Majestic suite, Junior suite and Deluxe K.Twin are tastefully decorated with full facilities, air-condition, TV, mini bar, hot & cold water. The hotel also has meeting rooms, conference rooms, function rooms, restaurant, swimming pool, fitness center and parking. The hotel is located in a convenient location adjacent to the main Surin Bus Terminal.
Although I haven't stayed there personally (as I live in Surin), I have recommended it to many friends visiting the area and all have been impressed by the facilities offered at the rates charged.
As at August 2006, the Delex K.Twin rooms are priced at Bht 800.00 per night.

Thong Tarin Hotel: Surin
Very nice and clean room with air con , attached bath with tub,TV and fridge for 780 B/room (plus buffet breakfast).
Unique Quality: Restaurant , coffee shop , Laundry service.
